The Flash: A New World, Part 4: Finale (2023)
That what I thought
I was absolutely shocked and disappointed by what I saw. It was a downright dirty approach. The entire plot seemed like a jumble of absurd events. ZOOM, this mysterious and menacing villain who looked like an alien, was simply killed by Khione as if he were nothing more than a pesky insect.
But that wasn't all. Savitar, once considered one of the greatest threats, was obliterated by Nora in a mere second. I could hardly believe it. That character who had instilled so much fear and terror was ended in such a mundane manner, without any suspense or confrontation.
And then came the moment when Godspeed met his demise. A character who had so much potential and impressed with his speed and ruthless nature. Yet, in the end, he was killed by a mere hand. It felt as if all the potential of this villain had been wasted, without being given proper treatment.
Furthermore, in one of the episodes, Cobalt Blue was introduced as a villain. I was filled with anticipation because this character had tremendous potential. His familial connection to Barry Allen and his fascinating backstory promised an exciting and emotional confrontation.
Unfortunately, Cobalt Blue was also disappointingly handled. Instead of an epic confrontation and profound character development, he was defeated by a single emotional speech. It felt as if all the potential and complexity of this villain were completely disregarded.
And to top it all off, the Reverse Flash was killed by Allegra. The Reverse Flash, an archenemy of Barry Allen and one of the most iconic characters in the DC universe, met his end at the hands of a supporting character. It was an insult to the fans and a disgrace to the entire history of the series.
I cannot help but express my frustration and criticize the decisions of showrunner Eric Wallace. His leadership of the series has led to a decline in quality. His choice to treat such iconic characters in such a trivial manner is not only disappointing but also disrespectful to the fans and the origins of these characters.
It is clear that Eric Wallace should never assume the position of showrunner again. Someone with such a superficial approach to plot and character development has no place in a series of this caliber. The fans deserve better treatment of their beloved characters and a carefully crafted plot that does justice to the complexity and potential of the DC universe.
It is time for the creators of the series to recognize that it is not enough to introduce iconic characters only to underutilize them or dispose of them in disappointing ways. The viewers invest time, love, and passion into these characters and stories, and they deserve to have their expectations met.
It is time for those in charge to understand the importance of a well-thought-out plot, proper character development, and a respectful approach to the origins and potentials of the characters. Only then can the series regain its former glory and meet the high standards that fans rightfully expect.
The Flash: A New World, Part 2: The Blues (2023)
Underrated Episode!
In Episode 11 of "The Flash," I didn't find it problematic that Barry only had a brief appearance. Instead, I was quite intrigued by the focus on Malcom's character, portrayed by the talented actor who also played Eddie. The exploration of Malcom's story arc was a highlight for me.
The episode delved into Malcom's journey and provided a deeper understanding of his character. I appreciated the complexity and depth that the actor brought to Malcom's portrayal. His performance kept me engaged and eager to learn more about Malcom's motivations and backstory.
Although I had been hoping for a reunion between Malcom / Eddie and Iris, as they share a compelling history, the episode focused solely on Malcom's experiences. While I missed the opportunity to witness their interaction, it allowed for a deeper exploration of Malcom's character and provided valuable insights into his mindset.
Overall, Episode 11 was a decent episode for me. Despite Barry's minimal presence, the exploration of Malcom's character made up for it. The actor's performance was captivating, and I was engrossed in the storyline surrounding Malcom. While I would have liked to see the Malcom (Rick Conset) and Iris reunion, the episode still managed to hold my attention and leave me curious about what lies ahead for Malcom in future episodes.

Two Good Episodes in A Row?
As a big fan of "The Flash," Episode 10 of Season 9 is definitely one of my favorite episodes ever. We finally entered the year 2000 again and ended the Circle of the Flash after seeing that legendary OG fight where Thawne kills Nora. And we were introduced to Cobalt Blue first as Joe and then, at the end, Malcom Thawne gets hit by the Negative Speedforce.
I was absolutely thrilled when I heard that we were finally going back to the year 2000. Time travel is always one of my favorite parts of the series, and I was excited to see how things would unfold. The OG fight between the Flash and Reverse-Flash was incredibly exciting. I had chills as the two superheroes clashed. The choreography of the fight scenes was spectacular, and it was great to see so many of the characters involved in an epic battle.
The introduction of Cobalt Blue was another highlight of the episode. I had been waiting for this character to finally appear on television for a long time. At first, he was introduced as Joe, which initially confused me, but at the end of the episode, it was revealed that he was actually Malcom Thawne. I couldn't believe it and was excited to see how his story would continue to develop in the series.
All in all, Episode 10 of Season 9 of "The Flash" was an incredibly exciting episode that captivated me from beginning to end. The return to the year 2000 and the OG fight between the Flash and Reverse-Flash were spectacular, and the introduction of Cobalt Blue provided a surprising twist that increased anticipation for the upcoming episodes.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 (2023)
The Best MCU Movie
I believe that "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3" is not only the best MCU film since "Endgame", but it's actually the best MCU film to date. I simply cannot understand why someone thought it was a good idea to fire James Gunn. It was a foolish decision. Gunn's creative vision and direction made this film an absolute masterpiece. The decision not to kill off any relevant characters was a smart one. It left everyone scattered throughout the galaxy, with each character on their own journey. For example, Peter is back on Earth with his grandpa. The High Evolutionary was a great villain and was perfectly suited to the storyline. This film was so emotional that it moved some viewers to tears, which is a testament to its quality.
We now have a new team, consisting of Rocket, Adam, Groot, Kraglin, Cosmo, and a female character whose name I do not know. I hope that we do not get a "GOTG Vol. 4" without James Gunn, as he is the only one who could write and direct a worthy follow-up to this perfect trilogy. The post-credit scene hinted that Star-Lord will return, which is sure to excite fans. I hope that we get to see an emotional scene in "Avengers: The Kang Dynasty" or "Secret Wars" where all of the Guardians (OG) reunite in a beautiful moment.
The Flash: It's My Party and I'll Die If I Want To (2023)
The Final Season Started
As a fan, I have to say that despite a rocky start, the 9th episode of The Flash's final season was a great improvement. Bringing back Stephen Amell as Oliver Queen and seeing Kid Flash return was a welcomed surprise. The villain, Bloodwork, was well-executed, and the storyline was even better than in season 6. Although the episode was slightly predictable due to leaks, it was still a satisfying experience for us fans. Overall, this episode was a strong addition to the season and gave new energy to the show. I'm hopeful that the rest of the season will continue to build on this momentum and bring back the excitement that fans have been missing in the past few seasons.
