The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power (2022)
Disaster
This is a mockery of Tolkien's legacy. So much detail that matters has been left out of the story. There's zero reference to time and space or of Galadriel's true motivation to stay in the Middle Earth. Can't believe they wasted so much money on this. The way the elves are presented is ridiculous - they're interacting like regular people, there's no implication of them actually being high beings. Also, Galadriel is a powerful wizard in the first place, not some made up warrior! The story is so inconsistent with what Tolkien had in mind, it almost hurts to watch. At the time when the first episode takes place Galadriel is already a few thousand years old and she way superior to Elrond, yet they're interacting like buddies and he's the one to get her an audience with the High King. This is ridiculous in so many aspects. I don't even want to think about the rest of the season. And I'd really like to know what exactly did amazon spent these 89,000,000 dollars per episode on!
Accidentally on Purpose (2009)
Reasons why I liked the show
Amazingly even for me, I pretty much liked the show. It is really funny, due to the extraordinary plot and the starring actors. Jennna Elfman is wonderful as always and the supporting actors make a good play. Being in the role of a single 37-years old woman, pregnant with a much younger guy's child points out even more evidently Jenna's comic talent and makes her look glamorous on screen again.
Important to mention are the funny jokes and hilarious situations mixed with some real, serious occurrences like pregnancy, marriage and relationships. The show could easily relax everyone and remind him to always look on the bright side of life :)
