Stellar dream-team performance. The cast sets a super high bar, and doesn't fail to deliver way above it. Every single actor in the movie is on some "performance of a lifetime" level, but personally I've found Jack Lemmon's performance to be the most moving I've witnessed in my whole lifetime. The movie is, in my humble opinion, the blueprint of how a play should be adapted for cinema/television. The direction is flawless, elegantly transparent, with the camera silently following the intense action on set.
Some people here in the reviews have complaints about the strong language used in the dialogues. Well, that's a non-exagerated transposition of reality in sales department, whether we like it or not.
