The Santa Clauses (2022–2023)

I agree the show is pretty good

I watched the show and I don't understand how people who claim that they are fans of the movies thought this show was stupid. How can you form an opinion after watching the set up of the whole show. I give this show a 9 only because I found Noel to be very immature, very needy and too childish. So what if I don't like 1 character out of the whole cast.

For those who really enjoyed the movies as much as they say they did has done themselves a disservice not watching.more. I waited until after episode 4 to speak out. The show is well written, funny, heartwarming and really hits on a few issues.

How many people get exactly what they want and then they turned around and ruined it. Do we not remember what Jack Frost did to the North Pole. Come on. That's real life stuff someone making it to the top and then letting it go to their head. The writers did a great job with the story line and I felt myself yelling at the TV when the episode was over. I have to wait another week to see what happens next. I'm really curious.

Lastly for those reviews that talk about the show only attracting smaller children. Let me tell you I am 56 years old and I am excited to watch next week. Then I will be excited to watch the week after that.

Quite tearing a show apart until you know what it's really about. If.you live Christmas, the Santa clause movies and Tim Allen. Watch for yourselves don't read anything else until you know what the show is really about.

Thank you for making a really hood mini series about Christmas that is just hood clean family fun. I LOVE IT.

House of the Dragon (2022– )

I loved it

I am a huge GoT fan. I loved the series and have watched it over and over. Each time I do I pick up on more things. I will say I have never read the books since I have a reading comprehensive problem so my experience is what was presented in the show.

That being said I have been waiting quite a whole for House of the Dragon to come on. The first moment it was available I watched it. I loved it. I dare say I loved it.more than I did the first episode of Game of Thrones. Mainly because I could understand it. I spent many of episodes trying to sort put who the characters were in GOT and how they all come together. HOTD seem to present more easily.

I am excited about the dragons, I am excited about the show and I hope it continues. Of course they feel like they have to have these sex scenes to get adults to remain interested. I can do without but I take it all as it is presented.

Yes the United Stayes are casting actors not because of their acting abilities but because of their race. Whatever, they chose their characters and I am not going to slam them with all the horrible acting choices everyone has made just to stay away from a white male hero stigmatized. Remember in GOT the targarans (spelling is probably wrong but you get the jest) were known for marrying their family members. I think that the producers probably forgot. I still loved the story and I still loved the feel of it. I am anxiously awaiting the 2nd episode and anymore shows that involve the grass roots of the families we lived or hated in GOT. Love the back stories.

That's my opinion and I hope they continue in the GOT fashion and shock the hell put of the viewers. Let's face it when they ended GOT they got.more attention then they did the entire series. Looking forward to this story unfolding..

The Orville: Gently Falling Rain (2022) Season 3, Episode 4

I am not one to voice my opinion on stuff like abortion but I have to say that this episode was done brilliantly. I wish that people that use abortion as birth control can have this technique shown to them. Let them see what would of been. Not saying that applies to everyone only to those who use it just because they didn't take appropriate actions. That being said I thought this episode was brave and very well done.

I am addicted to Orville just as much as I have been on all star trek. Take it for what it worth.

Star Trek: Strange New Worlds (2022– )

Love it love it love it

I grew up on star trek I remember many times being one of the first in line for new star trek movies. Back in the day where you would have to camp out to catch the show on opening day.

I personally think they made a great show with SNW. It is funny and serious and so very TOS star trek that I have always loved. If I would have to come up with anything negative to say it would be there are only 10 episodes in the first season and I am already at number 9. I need more. I think this show is so fantastic. I can't believe people are trying to pick it apart. I guess everyone's a critic. This show is a hit and we need many more episodes to wet my whistle.

The Orville (2017–2022)

I love this show

I grew up in a star trek star wars home. We were always the first ones to watch any shows or see any movies. With that being said I adore Orville. It's a really good show. I gave it an 8 only because a lot of the aliens are hard to take seriously. The costumes and make up makes them look fake. But I did not choose this show for its special effects. It good clean fun in a star trek family way. I was bummed when it almost wasn't renewed. I watched eagerly waiting for news of its continuance. I am so glad it got picked up. Most hood sci-fi series get dropped after a year or two. I am glad this is not the case.

For anyone out there watching it for the first time this is not a spoofed star trek show. It's a sci fi futuristic show. Give it a chance. It's so much fun.
