Any Bullet Will Do (2018)
I Reckon I've Never Heard Reckon So Much
Well, this movie looked good. And by looked good I mean visually. Some of the scenery was amazing. Aside from the contrail and moving plane I saw.
Anyway.
For some reason I knew what I was going to get before I even started it. I was kind of hoping it would turn out to be a cheesy western, but ultimately I felt it was just bad.
I normally try not to look at my watch during a movie, but I did several times through this. I also looked at my phone several times, too.
I kind of liked the story, but it was riddled with cliches and I'm pretty sure the word "reckon" was said more times than I have fingers and toes.
Not sure why I didn't stop it and watch something else.

It Was Okay
It was decent escape for 90 minutes. I think the concept was cool and it looked great, but just sorta missed the mark.
There also seemed to be some "once out of the burning house" situations that had wondering "how did he get out of there?"
The special effects were really good and at times had me forgetting the creatures weren't actually real.
If you have an hour and a half to fill, this might be worthwhile. This movie had great potential and when I saw that it was only ninety minutes after reading the synopsis I figured it wouldn't be as good as I'd hoped.
As an aside, part of me hopes Earth archeological digs will find a 65 million year old space ship.
The Silence (2019)
Meh
Enough differences from the book to keep me curious, but not enough to make this really good movie.
I rarely say the book is better than the movie, I feel it's usually different, but in this case, the book is better than the movie.
The book does answer some of the questions posed by another poster and fills some of the gaps the movie seems to have. The Hushed had a much bigger presence in the book, although the dude who played the reverend in the movie was full on creepy.
This movie did have a lot of potential, in my opinion, but just seemed to fall flat. I didn't care about the characters or the family.
Old (2021)
Yawn
Neat concept. Waste of my time. I was trying to decide at what point do I bail on it but suffered the whole way through.
Sigh.
It did tie together at the end, but by then I really didn't care.
