Euphoria: Trouble Don't Last Always (2020)
Incredible, Masterful, Should be Taught Everywhere
I almost NEVER write reviews - but I just needed to put out into the ether that this episode has the ability to truly change lives. I mean it gets at the heart of so many things it is absolutely remarkable, incredible and masterful. There are not enough superlatives to describe what a great scene this episode is.
Not only is it just shot in one location, but also it's literally just two people talking - Rue and Ali.
What they discuss, how they broach topics of addiction, racism, religion, family, depression - is something that I hope is given as many awards as possible. This was deeply moving. And more important than the majority or things on today.
Inception (2010)
Inception is my generation's most inventive, ingenious and incredible movies made
This movie is perfection.
From the beginning until the very end, this movie grips you and the entire audience completely. It is honestly a crime that certain people think this is a bad movie. There is not one bad part in the entire thing.
I saw it 3 days ago and I am still mesmerized by it. People should be regarding this work as one of the rarest forms of art we have left, because beyond just the movie itself, the fact that it was able to be made the way it was is an incredible feat in itself.
It is nearly impossible to see a studio these days give a director free reign on the entire movie and script when the film costs as much as it does to make. We have the honor and the privilege as an audience to be able to watch one of the most creative stories come to life in the most fantastical way that it epitomizes why humans go to the movies.
This film is brilliant and in no way should be discarded by any means because it is considered a "summer blockbuster." This is the rarest summer blockbuster you will ever see and for that matter the rarest and most incredible movie I have seen in at least the past 5 years.
Friday Night Lights: The Son (2009)
Just absolutely incredible
This episode about Matt's father's death is absolutely the most carefully crafted and well acted episode of any TV show in the history of entertainment. It is just so amazing that this show is able to garner real emotions out of the people in the audience. Friday night lights has the ability to make anyone feel like they are literally face to face with the people in the small town and that the character's strife is their own.
IT MAKES ME INFURIATED.... ABSOLUTELY INFURIATED THAT THIS SHOW IS NOT CONSIDERED THE BEST SHOW ON TELEVISION and that it has to be aired on freaking Direct TV 101....
Forever, I will love this show more than any other on TV...
