The Lost Daughter (2021)

I appreciate the thought but it was so boring

I like films that show the truth behind parenting. The nagging, the low lows, the struggle, the wishful thinking of another life where you can do things on your own term. But nothing happens in the film and it was so boring. So many of the sexual things were completely unnecessary too.

The acting was good. Some of the scenes could have transitioned more smoothly and the quality could have been a lot better. The part where she kills whatever the hell it is that's chasing them was a little unrealistic but it's okay. I'm guessing this is their first production anyway so thumbs up.

It had good potential and it was a good storyline, if only they had more money to produce something better quality and make the transitions smoother rather than so jumpy...

It was actually a good storyline and provided a good laugh -well done to the producers.

You might think it's bad at first but stick with it, it'll be worth it.

I think the ending was meant to be some kind of big shocker. It explained why the movie was the way it was but I wouldn't recommend watching it, with such a good idea they could have done a lot more.
