Race to Survive (2023)
The best survival show in recent years
How come there is no review on this show, this is probably the best survival show I have seen in recent years. It combines trail running, navigation and the typical survival stuff like foraging and fishing. At the same time you get to see them rafting and doing the rope things. Unlike Alone which turns to a boring starving game most of the time, this is very intense when all competitors are keep moving through different terrains. Instead of finding a place and hunkering down, I think this is the stuff that most outdoor people would like to see. There is no drama, there are no morons, just the hard core racing is entertaining enough. If you like this show, I would recommend you to check out Expedition Impossible and World's Toughest Race: Eco-Challenge Fiji.
Outlast (2023)
scripted but entertaining
I have always not had much faith in humanity but I also don't think any adult would behave like that when surrounded by filming crews. I don't doubt that they can do things like that in real life off the cameras, but they are on national TV! By doing criminal stuff like that they are ruining their lives outside of the show unless their lives are being actors/actresses. The way Jordan was being a cocky smartass, the way Jill was being a bully, and they way Brian and Dawn quited, are just so cliche. It's the stuff you would expect in soap opera. They even put a bald eagle footage there, geez.
But it's entertaining, I have to give it for that. I'm a Alone fan, it does get very boring to the end. So it's a five star.
Alone (2015)
Participants have no idea what they are doing
The show overall is ok, I just can't put up with some participants who have no idea what they are doing there. You know this show is called "alone" and you are supposed to be with nobody but yourself for as long as possible, so stop acting "oh i suddenly find home is the place I really want to be at and family are the ones I really want to be with",and you know you'll need to kill animals, now you get emotional for killing, really? Cut that BS, the only reason you tap out is because you are weak, be a man and owe it. Nothing wrong of being weak, it's only going to make people sick when you try to make yourself look better.
Making a Murderer (2015)
Just a possibility
Is it possible that Steve was under secret surveillance by Manitowoc law enforcement and when they saw Teresa there they took that opportunity and planted it all on Steve? Yes, I mean the law enforcement actually killed Teresa, so that they don't need to pay the 30 mil and more importantly they can overturn what they did earlier on Steve by proving him a killer all the time. They are the pros, if they want to plant someone they have all the resources they need and knowledge to make it as clean as possible.
Interstellar (2014)
LOVE is the recipe, haha
So this dude who's been farming all the time, drives his truck trying to trespass into a top secret NASA base is designated as the savior of earth and driver of the space ship out of nowhere, like the day after with zero training at all? And the same guy drops into a black hole just find out himself end up behind his daughter's bookshelf peeping outside, and somehow survives the black hole and gets rescued? And you call this a hard-core scifi? Harry Potter makes more sense to me, at least they wave their magic wand and spell before something this ridiculous happens.
