Fantastic Show
10 November 2008
Wow, what a surprise this show was for me. I am NOT a football fan at all, but this show is fantastic. In no way do you have to be a fan of football to enjoy this series.

The acting by the entire cast is nothing short of stellar. The writing is slick and engaging. The story lines are moving and realistic.

Some people may not like the "hand-held" camera look, but I think it makes it very intimate and pulls you closer to the characters! I hope the show continues; bravo.

I may have to check out the motion picture and see what that was all about.

I Miss This Show
7 August 2007
What a great thing the internet is! I've been watching the classic scenes of Rachel and Mac on YouTube and now I've been catching Another World from 1980 on Aol Video. Remarkable to see these scenes again.

Victoria Wyndham is, by far, the best actress to ever grace daytime TV. Herscenes with Beverlee McKinsee, Doug Watson and Constance Ford were a force to be reckoned with. The story lines and character creation was nothing short of brilliant. It's a shame that it went down hill in the mid 80s and never recaptured its magic. (Unfortnate that SoapNet was only able to start airing episodes from 1987 and not before.) I would love to be able to watch the show from it's creation until the mid 80s, but I'm sure that will never happen as I understand many of the episodes are lost forever. But Rachel, Mac, Ada and others will live in my heart forever.

Lindsay shines

One of her best performances out of all of her TV movie roles. The child actor who played "Messy Marvin" in commercials gives a fine performance as her son. Suspenseful and gripping. Great drama with shocking ending. Tearful, well acted.

Resident Evil (2002)

Game Fans Will Love It

It may not be the greatest horror movie ever made but it sure has some scary moments. Jovovich is absolutely stunning in the movie and she plays the part well. Rodriguez got a little carried away with the "tough" look on her face. I was disappointed when I first heard that this movie had no characters from the game, however, I was quite pleased at how well the director captured images from the game. The last shot of the movie literally blew me away and took me back to Resident Evil 3: it was almost a perfect picture of the game. RE fans, see this movie.

A Movie to give a kid nightmares
2 December 2001
I also remember watching this movie as a kid and it scared the hell out of me as well. It has never left my mind even though I have not seen the film in more than 20 years. I just placed a bid for the movie on VHS at ebay and I'm hoping to win the auction so I can show it to my niece and see if it has the same affect on her (she's 14). Probably won't since she laughs at "The Exorcist" and "Friday the 13th." Ah, times have changed.
