The Amazing Digital Circus (2023)
The Amazing Digital Circus
I am digging this show so far. It's like if you combined The Shining, Beetlejuice, Ready Player One, and The Classic Mickey Mouse Cartoons. The cast is amazing and the animation is expressive. I also just want to congratulate Alex Rochon on going from a YouTuber who loves No More Heroes to getting a main role in this series. I also gotta love the characters. Caine is pretty Beetlejuice if he was played by Jim Carrey. This show gives me The Shining vibes by how Pomni is slowly losing her mind when in the digital circus. I also love the concept of abstracted creatures as someone who loves cosmic horrors. Definitely check this out.
Yokai wotchi (2014)
My Childhood in a Nutshell
I don't know why everyone is calling this show bad. This show is my Childhood. When I was in 5th grade, this show was my favorite thing ever. And after watching it recently, I really appreciated the first two seasons for shaping my childhood. Plus, my boi Johnny Young Bosch of Ichigo fame voices the main character in the first two seasons. I love this show to death. I may have not have loved the third season, but the first two shaped my childhood like no other show. Amazing voice acting, creative scenarios, top notch jokes, and a banger of a theme song. This show is the reason why I got into both the Yo-Kai Watch game series and even Pokémon.
Mortal Kombat (2021)
An absolute Love Letter to MK
This Movie is absolutely amazing. For a person who loves Mortal Kombat, this movie has a tons of nods to the video game series. I had a fun time watching the fights scenes, seeing all of the Easter eggs, and hearing some iconic lines.
Muppets Haunted Mansion (2021)
A Spooktacular Time!
I freaking love this special. I love the puppetry, the songs were good, Will Arnett was great, the humor was fantastic (Yes, even the puns), and the score was beautiful. Also, yes, Kermit doesn't sound so good yet not bad. But, Matt Vogel is a fantastic puppeteer.
Give this movie a watch.
