Ricky Gervais: Humanity (2018)
Brilliant
As always Ricky is super funny, jokes are great, timing perfect. Just one thing- there is too much time spent, in my opinion, on Ricky defending his right to joke on any subject. He's right of course, but could dedicate that time to just getting on with being brilliant at what he does best- comedy. Thanks Ricky for years of entertainment!

Top Gear: Episode #24.3 (2017)
Top Gear is back to its glory!
What a relief! Everybody thought that after last season's disaster they couldn't do it. Well, they can! This programme has kept its format but with the three current presenters it feels new and it is very good. Now, after all, it is a serious competitor for the Grand Tour which suddenly hasn't got the monopoly of making a great car show episode after episode. That surely can only be good for both shows.
Top Gear: Episode #23.1 (2016)
TFI Friday gone bad..
Wow, wow, wow! I really was hoping for a good show but, I'm sorry, it just didn't work for me at all. No chemistry between the two presenters is the problem. Matt Leblanc is actually not bad at all: he is quite funny and laid back and with a worthy British counterpart could blossom in this show. The real problem in my view is the casting of Chris Evans - this otherwise talented presenter here seems to be completely out of sorts. He is running around like an over-grown boy who has seriously overdone on drinking too much sugary soda. He is trying too hard and it doesn't seem he's enjoying himself really or - indeed - enjoying anything that Matt Leblanc does or says. I didn't believe him. Perhaps he's desperately trying to come across as an Alpha male next to Matt who is one? In short, it is simply not the right show for Chris. He has done much better in the past. I know this is very tough but he is a good guy and a professional and will find many more suitable things to do in the future of his long and no doubt successful career.
Who knows - perhaps Matt and Chris will have that drink after all between the episode 1 and 2 and their bromance will start blossoming from now on! I hope so but, unfortunately, I doubt it very much.
Punch-Drunk Love (2002)
a really good movie indeed!
I love this movie! Everything about it is just excellent. I watched it twice in two days and loved it even more the second time round; the cinematography, the story, the dialogue, the music, the colours, the characters- everything here falls together in a divine harmony.
It is a very positive movie and will make you feel good about us humans and our individuality, our feelings, love, our awkwardness, bizarreness, vulnerability, strengths and weaknesses, our life-struggle and finding our individual ways.
I like the performances of all the actors: Sanders gets a portrait of a completely suppressed man, Emily Watson is adorable- I fell in love with her character completely by the end of the movie, the non-professional actors are perfect for this film, Seymour Hoffman makes his short appearances strong and memorable. This kind of movie is beyond my criticism and I'm sure will be loved more and more as the time passes by.
This is one of my favourite movies of all times.
The Godfather Part III (1990)
A very good conclusion to an excellent trilogy
I watched all tree movies in one weekend. If you have time, do it and you'll get a very good sense of continuity of the story of one family spanning over many generations. You'll get a very deep thought and emotion provoking experience.
All three films are very good and I don't see why the third one has been discredited as the weaker one. In my opinion it is as strong and valiant as the first two. Perhaps people who had seen the first two films made in short proximity of 72' and 74', after 16 years of waiting had their expectations lifted to almost unattainable levels? Another mystery for me is the assault of critic's attacks Sofia Coppola received for her portrayal of the part of Mary Corleone. I thought she was excellent. I thought her casting in the role has been a brilliant idea. She comes across as a young, innocent, well-protected girl- just right for the part she is playing.
Watch this film and judge it for yourselves.
