Shock Docs: The Exorcism of Roland Doe (2020)
Great documentary and highly recommended!!
Even if you've heard the story before about Roland Doe, this includes a lot of never before mentioned information. It's something all Exorcist movie fans should definitely watch! There is some very important information left out of this documentary but that's okay, they make up for it in other ways! Enjoy!
The Bad Seed (1985)
A True Classic!
Of course, nothing beats the 1956 original version of "The Bad Seed." However, this one doesn't trail to far behind it! I remember watching this on TV when I was about 5 or 6 years old and it stayed in my mind ever since then.
After years and years of searching for it on DVD, I finally found it, however, it was only a copy! About 5 years after, Warner Bros finally released it as part of their "Archive Collection." So, i bought it again and it is of great audio and video quality in comparison to the copy i had first bought.
Honestly, I feel that this movie does not get the credit it deserves. For it's time, (the mid 80's,) and being a Made for TV movie, I think it's a masterpiece! I just don't understand why it took an extremely long time to surface on DVD? Oh well, it's available now and that's what matters!
BH90210 (2019)
An Amazing Cast!!
This was a great idea and success in every way! I was so pleased to see Shannen Doherty participate on this mini-series and I loved the comedy!! I am even more pleased to see that the cast was able to let bygones be bygones and re-unite. (I'm sure the media made the drama worse than what it really was anyways...)
I grew up watching Beverly Hills 90210 and every cast member is a God sent in their own ways. It was an awkward feeling to not see Luke Perry in this, I have no doubt he was right there with them in spirit!
A++++ to all the cast and crew involved and hopefully their creativity can continue and produce more content for us to watch!
The Exorcist File (2014)
Good but could have been better!
This documentary was good and a must see for all Exorcist fans. It is based on the infamous Robbie Mannheim aka Roland Doe possession. (This is also where the director of the movie and writer of the book got their scripts from.)
The paranormal investigating crew do in fact go to the hospital and house located in St Louis to investigate the rooms where the exorcisms took place. However, they should have went to the actual house in Maryland where Robbie and his Aunt Harriet played the Ouija board in 1949. After all, that is where Robbie became possessed and the "demon" apparently manifested in him there.
I feel the investigators would have gotten better results with there equipment instead of in St Louis.
Sesame Street: Some, more, and most (1976)
Too bad about this episode!
That's really sad that parents complained about this episode and got it banned forever. It couldn't have been any "scarier" than the Wizard of Oz considering that's where the character of the Wicked Witch of the West originated from. Incredibly lame and ignorant of those parents that caused this to happen!
Off the Map (2015)
Great show!
I hope at some point, Shannen and Holly decide to continue this show! I really enjoyed it, actually, I enjoy anything with Shannen Doherty in it! From "Little House on the Prairie" to "Beverly Hills 90210," I have always been a huge Shannen Doherty fan! In fact, Beverly Hills 90210 wasn't the same after Shannen left in season 4. Though, I do understand that things weren't always "friendly" behind the scenes of Beverly Hills 90210. But this show, "Off the Map," in particular was brilliant! I guess because it gives people a chance to see what all 50 states have to offer now-a-days! I learned a lot from the first few states that Shannen and Holly visited. Please bring it back and visit all 50 states in the USA!
