Usually love this type of show but I struggled to complete this. Beyond the amateurish acting, the plot creeps at a snail's pace. Mostly, there's a disconnect between the older and younger versions of the characters, and as they are nearly all unlikeable there's little reason to even make the extra effort it requires. Far better choices out there for limited viewing time.

The story is fine, if not a bit confusing. But holy cow-that's some of the worst acting I've seen. It covers the range from incompetent to over the top. With hundreds of this type of show out there, you're better off looking somewhere else.
