This type of film, scares the hell out of me,because it's real,well, maybe not the story, but the whole concept is real. I believe that since I was little, I was raised up in church know right from wrong and I've seen some stuff......stuff that can't be explained. This is actually the essence of truth. So many people have been deceived by the evil,This guy represents. I'm glad that they touched on the abortion thing too, because that makes evil so happy. Murdering babies. Doubting, despair,lying.we,as people just play into their hands. Good film, So complex and complicated that it very simple.great concept,great script,shot well,& both main Characters just killed it. Check it out.

What amazes me is,this movie,& the amazing actors wern't even mentioned at the Oscars!! Dang this was bad.i hope the stars of this 'movie' stay grounded,& don't let the trappings that the super stardom these people will have ho to their heads...i mean,will they still say hello at Wal Mart,or ignore us all and go to the fancy Target store over by the new car wash? Ok, this movie was awful from start to finish. Not one single part of this movie is even noteworthy. The script was horrible, the acting was absolutely pathetic, it was shot terribly,the sound sucked...if this was as good as i could do,i just wouldn't do anything.

I gave this 'movie' 1 star......because i couldn't give it a minus 10. Where does one even begin??? Script...seems made up as they went along. No 'direction'...but the 'actors' didn't really need direction,because this story is as old as cinema itself,it's has been done so many times.a kid trying to stand in his daddy's shoes,i'm smarted than my daddy...and the tired,old veteran,& his remarks...'did somebody change the kids diaper'? So he has to prove himself over,& over,see? Even you've seen this weak a$$ crap over,& over.it tries to be a Twister 2,& it just don't work.even the music sucks. This was AWFUL!!!!

This is the quintessential gangster movie,the template,the standard to which all others are measured.this is a required movie for all mob flick aficionados. A bit cheesy in parts,(remember, there was really nothing to measure this against),but overall good script, probably took all of an hour to write,acted well,shot as well as to be expected.a good way to spend an hour n half. Edward G Robinson's talent outshines everyone,but they all pulled their weight.don't expext any Oscar performances,but like i said,if you like organized crime, movies,this,(& Scarface',with Paul Muni)is really the only place to start.

Great idea, even though it's been done to death,cool location, adequate script, acceptably shot an edited. So,if the elements are all there.....why does it fall so flat,you don't really realize till the movie is half over,so what does this mean? It lacks passion.period.if you are making a movie,that,let's be honest,is 'weak out the gate',at least have passion about it.the acting sucked,all but the required bi-racial couple,(shocker!!!),and your big,bald,bearded types,did the best acting. It's a watchable,easy movie,just so many movies like this are all over the place.ok,here....mom and dad need money,& they steal a valuable hard drive,mob types,street types,3 initial organizations in the government want it,& the cops want it.weak chaos ensues.

Cop gets badge. Cop tries to stem the flow of crime. Cop gets hit HARD with the hammer of reality. Cop gets frustrated,& disillusioned. Cop sees opportunity to make actual money. Cop says 'f$&k it',& life will never be the same.not a unfamiliar story,&/or plot line of many movies.....but this aint no movie,it's real life,& it will shock you,Amaze you,and have you wanting the 'bad guy' to get away with it. I work for the Chicago PD,& the first time i heard this story,was in audiobook format,& i just started it over,as soon as it was finished. Ok,first,Mike was bad dude with a badge...sort of. Kenny was a rookie cop,wet behind the ears type of guy.a good dude,& slowly but surely gets sucked in the 'life'.as a cop,i can't hate Mikey,and i can't love Kenny.he's a rat. He could not ever be trusted. Mikey,on the other had,i suit up,& ride with him right now.it's a cop thing,& i don't expect you to get it. Ok,the film was done well,edited well,all boxes checked,yadayadayada. Justbtry not to be shocked too much,by remembering this.....police corruption has been the standard.it has gone on forever,& will continue.this was quite a while ago,&, trust me,it continues to this very day,& this is only the beginning of the start of the tip of Mt. Everest!!

Jaaaysus!!! If it aint broke don't fix it. What's the point of this? The old one is just fine. This goes beyond trying to rip something off that is original to make it something better, this was an assault. This was horrible. If I acted in this I would stop because I would not want my name associated with this piece of crap.this makes The Indiana Jones Crystal skull debacle look like the Godfather. Everyone on the production team should be arrested. Everyone that I acted should be arrested for impersonating an actor. They should lose their SAG card. Ok,lets just get this out there.this movie has been made over and over,with no real diffrences from other of the genre.that being said....this was a cool movie! Cast well,not too over the top effects,a couple of eyebrow raising plot twists. Jamie Fox is a pool cleaner/vamp hunter,in trouble with his local union,& he needs money to save his family,gets a bumbling newbie,(think shia labouf in constantine),snoop dogg is a clint eastwood/dog the bounty hunter type badass,&,& you can pretty much guess the rest.if you need a bathroom break,you really don't have to pause it,you won't miss much,but it's a cool movie.

Im not jewish,but i play one on tv,& this movie scared the 'drek' outta me!! The reason is simple....stuff like this is REAL!! F$&k jason,michael,& freddy!! GUILT feeds this particular entity,shame is it's motivator. I'm not going to critique this movie.just watch it,& hope to Yhwh you can't relate. Zol zayn mit mazl!!!!

There are many great actors, career defining roles,breathtaking movies. This is one of the finest preformances,as a seeing,hearing human i've ever seen.weather you are old,or young,from up north,down younderbin dixie,you need to see this movie.being born and raised in the south,(thank you God),some of this hits uncomfortably pretty close to home.my grandparents people had slaves on a massive cotton plantation,30,000 acres.when lincoln freed the slaves,they were loved,& they loved our family,from the letters,records,& they revieved a large share,to live on the farm,or not,a competitive wage,& for my great,great grandfathers Christian efforts,he was burned out,literally,& had to start from scratch,twice.racisim effected everybody,& it is displayed....much more kindly than was actually lived. Great,should be required watching movie.

This is what everybody wishes their high school experience was,& sometimes is,albiet in (coffcoff) smoke filled memories.to be honest,i can closely relate,mine was very similar. Cool movie,not too much of a script.i love the cars,& the clothes.i lt wasc acted so well,from the sterotypical nervous,self conscious Jew,played perfectly by Adam Greenberg,to the jock that just can't let go of his glory days,played by Mathew McConahay.not too many risks taken,but Ben Afflec played the testosterone fueled a$$hole very well...overall,if you wern't,/aint a stoner,you'll hate it.me....i'm high right now,so i loved it....i also like Funyuns too.

Ok,as a violent person,i love movies like this!! Vengence,revenge,it's just....poetic. Adrian and his nose make a very formidable pair.i have a substantial nose as well,& know the power they can have.i wonder if his nose has his own agent? Mine does..(& he's a crook!) anyway,movies like these have a definite following,almost a guilty pleasure.although the casting works,every body does well enough,believable,albiet not too complex.turns out,the Trashman,was 'Tha fahkin Grim Reaper'!!

This is a stoner movie thru and thru.i've never watched it not stoned,& after many views,i still laugh my ass off.being from the south,and a racially equal city,it's refreshing to see a movie that aint scared to show what it's like in the 'hood'.it's as diffrent as it is the same.very well cast,everybody does great,& i like the lil twist toward the end. Ok,it was made on the very cheap,& nothing was too complex.not really a family movie,but watchable past 10,12 years old.

This movie scared the s$&t outta me as a kid!!!!! I didn't even wanna take a bath,go to the pool,or sit on the toilet. Great story,great cast,& acted superbly,by excellent, seasoned professional actors. One of the first movies that made you think animals....think,& take things personally.still kicks most 'animal horror movies' ass by miles,& miles.the original plan was to have alot more shark footage, I do too everything from salt water,to union troubles kept more live mechanical shark time to a minimum, just adding to the fear and the persona of the shark.

Another huge budgeted,big effects,LOUD AS HELL,silly movie.weak script,weak cast,(is there anything Liam Neeson won't do? This is something to watch,when all you need is background noise when you are slaughtering live chickens. This movie sucked.👎🏽

Great cast,cool script.well done twist on an old classic. Depp was great,Gambon was great,the others....meeh.i love Tim Burton's overall gothic look.he could go outside,on a sunny day,& shoot a scene,& it'll be gloomy,cloudy,& overall cool.

Ok,nothing new,not too original,but heres the thing....it's a remake,not a re-boot,& it was done damned well. Historically, dead on the money.very accurate from clothing,to accents,to,well everything. Del Toro did just fine,as well did everyone.big production,big money,big expectations.i watched it twice,& will watch it again. Enjoy.

This movie is the definition of....'Ok'. Very intricate and complicated plot to try to follow...but it's ok.mediocre acting,& cast,but....it's ok.in reality,as far fetched,& as likely as the Superman story,but....it's ok.

The script itself is very weak, this movie's been done about 75 times before. The acting was typically Uninspired. Something that's been bothering me, does every movie, every TV show, every documentary every commercial have to have a biracial couple? I'm just getting to the point where you gotta have your lesbian,your gay dude,your biracial couple your Asian that can't drive well,the black guy from the hood that hates everybody..it's just getting pathetic. This whole movie sucked.

Where to start.....Caan is perfect,Bates is brilliant,Farnsworth is.... Farnsworth.perfectly cast,shot well,just enough suspenseful music. Annie will make you feel sorry for her,she's so smitten,& crazy.everytime i watch this movie,i seriously have to rub,& massage my ankles.
