This movie picks up somewhat where the last one left off, the brothers are scattered and it's 8 years after they were together from the first movie according to the timeline. And without giving anything away there's a pretty good plot in this movie, and everything that you liked about the first one you'll love in this one. Honestly I have absolutely no complaints about this movie, it's astonishing that so few movies can deliver this level of genuine understanding about why people saw the first one and what we wanted to see out of a sequel.
10/10 for me this was a complete win, great cast, great plot, fantastic acting, directing, fighting and gunplay were all top notch. Can't wait for the 3rd one.

You seriously tried to recreate the original suits with other people? Are you kidding me? And to do it in such a tacky way. You literally even made the offices look the same. This isn't just a regular fail this is a colossal fail. Whoever came up with this premise should know one thing, the prime reason why the original suits worked is because OF THE CAST.
Do you know how many of the cast from the original suits you have here? That's right, 0. Just about the same amount as your ratings are going to be after watching this show. Now I see a few people who did well in some shows, but they are absolutely not the right fit for this kind of atmosphere. And more importantly I don't care about any of them. The whole point of the first episode is to make the audience care about a few people so they can emotionally invest in them. You blew it.
3/10 nice try, absolutely not the way to go.

So I watched a good deal of shows with both Tim Allen and Kat Dennings, and I used to be under the impression that they were pretty good actors, and then I got to watch this show. And suddenly realized that they really aren't. They've been 1 character(themselves) for every single show they've ever been in, and the writing and cast has carried them. And if you don't believe me rewatch the things they were in. They're just the same people, doing exactly the same things, only in a different show.
So why is this an issue? Because when you put 2 people, that have no inherent acting chops, are basically reading lines, have no real ability to formulate chemistry on screen together. What you get is a pretty boring show that's gonna bomb. Add in the fact that they don't have great writers like they did for their respective good comedy shows and you have a 1 season at best show.
5/10 No real acting, bland writing, I'd be amazed if this got past 1 season.
