Bill Burr Presents: Friends Who Kill (2022)
I don't recommend watching this show...
I watched because I saw a few names of comedians I like. Unfortunately, it seems like it was not well curated. I did not laugh very much except for Steph Tolev's set. The first set by Michelle Wolf was boring, and very
"I am not like the other white girls". Bumping Mikes guys seemed just sleepy and unprepared. The band was just... was that supposed to be funny? Even Jessica Kirtsen who I normally enjoy, did not do well here.
Ray Romano: Right Here, Around the Corner (2019)
Did not enjoy it
I really liked the understated nature of this special. I like the feel of club special vs. big arenas. Romano has a charisma about him as well, he's very likable. However I thought the material was blah. Most of the jokes were very traditional - "women are like this and men are like that." It was stale and got boring pretty quickly unfortunately.
The Honeymoon Stand-Up Special (2018)
I loved it
The show is made up of three segments, Natasha Leggero solo, Moshe Kasher solo and another one together.
I grew up watching Natasha Leggero on Comedy Central Roast and always thought she was THE killer. In her segment she shines. She delivers on her brutal reputation, roasting herself, being frank about her family history and there is not one boring moment!
Moshe as always is a hilarious hipster! Does not shy away from any topic. I love when he talks about his mom and her antics.
Together they are such a power couple. They amplify each other to produce an original segment that is super enjoyable, funny and makes want to see more!
I highly recommend!
