Rumble (2021)
If you've ever seen a movie, you've seen this
Not to mention this is just an animated feature of Reel Steal, only with monsters instead of robots. So if you miss Hugh Jackman, just watch the other movie instead.
This is literally the most generic film I have ever seen before.
There is NOTHING special about this! They probably said «hey! Let's make a movie about wrestling monsters!» and they did.
«What should the monsters look like?»
«Yes.»
Only stupid people won't be able to guess the entire plot after looking at the poster. If you've seen the poster, you have literally seen the. Entire. Film.
It is so generic I actually thought I had watched it before. Only to realize it was JUST released.
It's almost a spoiler just mentioning the name.
The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent (2022)
I don't get it
I didn't and couldn't finish the movie.
The timing was off. It all seemed really forced. I seriously do not understand how it has such positive Feedback?
It even seemed cheap.
I found it cringe.
Would not recommend. I am still so confused as to how this movie has done so well with the ratings? I am almost disturbed. It's almost like a phenomenon. Truly amazed. But not by the movie.
The Lost City (2022)
No.
I am almost physically angry with the characters and the story. The movie had little potential to begin with, and it seemed like Channing Tatum tried to play 5 different roles at once. I'm not blaming him. It was poorely written.
The ending didn't even make sense, and seemed very forced.
The whole movie seemed forced.
Conclusion: Don't. Just no.
The Royal Treatment (2022)
Like any other movie, just worse..
I'm sorry, but what? I JUST finished the movie, and it was bad. The story was thin, the characters had no depth at all. There was no character development. Everyone was themselves from start to finish without any progression.
You've definitely seen this before. It's like watching any other modern romantic movie, only worse.
I can give the film some credit for me being able to finish it. Otherwise, there was not much I liked. It was badly executed. Not a satisfying ending either...
You can literally watch any other movie and just take away the things that make the movie unique, and you got "The Royal Treatment".
Would not recommend.
Olaf Presents (2021)
Really stupid show
I loved it. I laughed. It was funny. Why they made the show? Idk. But I'm glad they did.
You sould be somewhat a fan of the Frozen franchise, but even though I'm not that big of a fan of Olaf, the episodes was so stupid it was fun. Absolutely loved his singing!
The little mermaid, Moana and Tangled were my favorites. Hope they'll make more episodes.
Nanatsu no taizai (2014)
Don't bother after the 3rd season (maybe the 4th)
I loved the show! ...until the last two seasons.
I binged the first three seasons in a week! The animation was great, loved the story and the characters (except the pig).
Season four was OK. Liked some of it, but it wasn't great. But it's WAY BETTER THAN SEASON FIVE!!!
Season five is bad. Really bad. I'm disappointed. The animation by this point is also not good... at all..
I had to skip to the last episode, because it was incredibly boring and I wanted to se how it all ended.
Would recommend the first three seasons, because they are great! Maybe the 4th too. But it was such a waist waiting for the last season.
Would give 8/10, but season five happened...
Inside Job (2021)
It's kinda fun!
5/10 for the show in itself, but gave it a 6 because it felt more right i guess.
This show isn't very good, but I get only good vibes from it. I like most of the characters (especially Brett) and the consept has potential. I enjoy how they have included so many "mainstream" conspiracies and based characters on real people.
The humor isn't top notch, but it hits right when I'm really tired (which i mostly am when i watch Netflix). I like the dynamic between the two main characters, but the story in every epsiode isn't something you haven't seen before.
Even tho I'm not really into this animation style I think it works with the show being all silly and not serious.
I have only seen a couple of episodes tho, so i'ts not a complete review. I just find the show kinda fun, and it's worth a watch if you're into silly and weird characters, generic storylines, conspiracies and kinda bad humor (which I have).
Cider no yô ni kotoba ga wakiagaru (2020)
Cute, but OK
This movie was really pretty! But the story was just OK.
I would recommend this if you like basic and simple love stories, or if you're into the art style (which is why I watched it). It really was a very gorgeous movie, but as far as the story goes I found myself skipping a few minutes near the end. It isn't something you haven't seen before.
Worth a watch! It's nothing NOT to like, I just found it a little boring after a while.
