Good Idea, Not So Good Execution

I did like the idea behind it all but thought it was executed poorly. I mean, even for a budget film, there was almost little to no effort put into the design of Pooh & Piglet. We're expected to believe they are the actual charachters but they were clearly two guys wearing masks like any mask you could buy in a costume shop which is why there's practically no change of facial expressions in the two of them at all, apart from one scene & it only lasts about two seconds, probably a cost saving feature. So all & all, it was nothing particularlly special & I wouldn't be in a rush to watch it again.

I like all kinds of horror movies & like to try any film at least once. After hearing all kinds of reviews about this, I thought I'd give it a go & I thought it was ok. Honestly, I think a dubbed version would've been better. When watching something with other people, you can still talk to one another but with subtitles, you pretty much have to constantly be looking at the screen in case you miss anything. As for the film itself, when you know how to seperate fiction from reality, there's really nothing in a film that can shock you because it's not real & you know it. So I'd say you should only watch it if you too can seperate fiction from reality.

Boring Really

I've always been a big fan of horror films & I'll try any film at least once. So I gave this one a shot but as it went on, I didn't think it was worth it to be honest & by the end, I thought it just dragged out longer than it needed to. Throughout the entire film, it's divided up to 3/4 of just listening to people talk & anything that does happen within the remaining 1/4 of it, it's nothing particularly interesting. Overall, it was just too boring really. Not the best. Too much talk, not enough horror. Not much else you can say about it really. Everything that can be said has been pretty much said.

Joyride (II) (2022)

Not The Greatest But Not The Worst Either

Saw the trailer for it & thought I'd give it a go. It was a bit slow at some points but overall, it was a good enough film. All Irish films have something about them that makes the likeable.

I found myself watching this, (not through choice, I was visting family & they were watching it) & felt no sympathy for this person whatsoever. Someone you barely know starts looking for money & you start taking out loan after loan in order to pay it? You are a complete fool & it serves you right.

One of the best shows I've ever seen. The perfect cast for some of the most perfect & imperfect situations. Would highly reccomend.
