All in the Family: Archie and the F.B.I. (1972)
Last line is always eye-opening
Best Friends....
That's only for kids anyways...
I love Archie, he's so blunt and honest...
you'd know where you stood with him,
true, he's a bigot, but he's honest about it, and he speaks his mind.
He loves Edith, and would be nowhere without her... and Edith is such a Saint.
She puts up with his views, and stands up to him at rare times, that we all applaud. This program aired in the '70s and was mirroring the times, it would never pass muster today. It is a masterful study of everyday life then, and is brilliant in it's depiction. It's sad that there's hardly any new programs that can compare.
Connected: A Search for Unity (2021)
Brutal Honesty
We, as a Society, need to be shown more documentaries like this...
those that show the truth
...good AND bad...
There needs to be more dialogue about how to bring about positive change to communities 👍
Madea's Witness Protection (2012)
fine for an escape
There's plenty to like about this film...
scenes to make you laugh
many relatable situations where
you wish you handled it like Madea...
watch it to kill some time & feel good.
Bull: King Bull (2021)
Family is everything...
Sisters bicker over their Father's business
with two bringing suit against one...
Father has the final say 😉
Wonderful episode....
bring on the Kleenex.
American Masters: Becoming Helen Keller (2021)
Excellent
You'll be amazed.... a fantastic documentary. Wonderful history and in-depth research into Helen Keller's experiences. Mandatory Viewing.
Well worth your time to be enlightened as to what this Trailblazer did to make a path that was lighter for the following generations to travel.
Again, highly recommended.
Get on the Bus (1996)
Incredible dialog...
Incredible dialog...
not to downplay the cinematography
but you could just listen,
and be enthralled...
Clarice (2021)
Stands on its own....
Without even having seen the
Silence of the Lambs...
the first episode
is compelling.
The Twilight Zone: Ring-A-Ding Girl (1963)
Bea Benaderet....
Wasn't she in the cast?
appearing in the ring?
it's either her or her doppelganger ;)
