I first discovered a&f in Milan in 2012. What I most remember about it was the style of the store, prices and one black and one white guy at the entrance showing their abs. Seeing this whole documentary just about race is just so disappointing. From the trailer i thought it will be about the rise and fall of a&f, instead is just a boring interview of some random ex-teens about their feelings remembering the brand.

I bet there are many YouTube videos about this brands history that is better done than this doc. So disappointed at Netflix for another low budget-low effort product that I'm pretty sure I'm gonna delete my account now (jk i have to wait for Better call Saul to end)

Most important think: the family of the victim wasn't contacted for the making of this movie. So just for this fact alone you should avoid it and watch YouTube videos explaining the case if you really that interested.

I remember when the media would talk about this case every day for years, so I watched the movie thinking of understanding better the story.. my mistake.

The production quality is good enough, but some actors look straight out of cheap telenovelas.

All in all the movie is not to bad and I would recommend it if wasn't for the first point I mentioned.

Eternals (2021)

As a MCU fan, after one hour I was just so disappointed and bored. I couldn't believe someone approved this after all the movies who came before. Was expecting Marvel to have already figured out a formula for making an enjoyable movie for all kind of viewers, but wrong I was.

I don't want to mention things already talked by others, but I feel like few are mentioning how bad this movie was edited also. You can clearly see there is no continuity between the different takes in fight scenes and it ruins all the immersion.

All in all, I'm mostly disappointed, considering that even the TV series they released are much better crafted together than this hyped movie.

Army of Thieves (2021)

Nothing special, nothing new

Just from the title alone you can understand why this movie was made in the first place, milking on the "success" of Army of the Dead, by making a spinoff with the worst character of the first movie.

Starting from the premise of the plot, it absolutely doesn't make any sense.

The camera in certain scenes is continuously moving for no reason, making me dizzy.

The actors.. let's just say they are trying with what they got for the plot.

And I could go on and on with how many things are just wrong with this movie.

Recap: skip it at all cost.

Locke & Key (2020–2022)

I remember actually enjoying the first season, so I was glad when I saw season 2 came out, but then I started watching it and oh boy... This second season is just another teen high school drama with some magic keys to differentiate itself a bit. So if you have over 18 yo I highly suggest you skip this series all together, it really is not worth your time.

The Forgotten Battle (2020)

Not great, not terrible

It's a war movie as you already saw many. Bit if you are one that enjoys them, then go for it.

Pretty well done, cinematography very good, story average and casting does the job.

For non-americans this is like watching a car accident, I don't know how else to describe it. I really don't know how you guys over the ocean arrived at this point of giving such a person a piece to plug her book for 1 and half hour.

Don't get me wrong, even if you are from US definitely skip this garbage and don't give them more recognition that they deserve. Go drink some water or something.

PS. Maybe it would be more entertaining just going outside and waiting for a real car incident to happen.

Money Heist (2017–2021)

The fast and furious saga: TV series style

Just another Netflix series that started with a good story and then continue milking it for the money, even though the story could have been concluded way before (like 13 reasons why and many more).

I watched the first 2 seasons and really liked it, but then the 3rd one really turns 180 degree and ruin it. So if you really want to start watching it, I suggest you to stop after the second part.

I think 2 stars out of 10 is the right score, given the fact that only the first 2 seasons make sense and pretty sure they will go up to 10 seasons.

Loki (2021–2023)

Just a filler

Everyone excited about the introduction of the multiverse and the new big marvel villain, but there is none of that in this season. If we just focus on the series alone, it is a whole lot of nothing.

Character development of Loki is not expecting (or it all happens in 5 min of the first episode).

The fighting scenes are one of the worst in the marvel saga (like really cringe sometimes).

And the villain in the end act as a child for no reason, like it doesn't strike you as the person behind the whole.universe timeline.

If you a marvel fan, you kinda have to see this to prepare for the next big movies, but just don't pretend this is a good series.

Sweet Tooth (2021– )

If you older than 15 yo and didn't read the original: SKIP IT

Let's say I'm done giving any chances to a Netflix series anymore. It's 8 ep without any conclusion to the story whatsoever, at the end you just feel like this could have been the first 2 episodes of a series, but you know Netflix like to make a season out of each normal episode and ad nonsense story just to make it longer and longer.

The first ep is intriguing enough, but the more you go on and see you almost finished the season, the more you realize this story is going nowhere.

The amount of cliches and plotholes are so infuriating also. I seriously can't understand who this series is for.

In the end, just skip this one and go watch something else.

PS. As many Netflix originals this days, this one will be cancelled before any meaningful conclusion to the story as well, I'm quite sure about it.

Army of the Dead (2021)

You get what you pay for

One of those movies you out as background while you doing something else and just turn around to look for the fighting scenes. (There is really just one or two good action scene in the whole movie) People who liked it say "it's a zombie movie, what did you expect?". As if there are no good movies with zombies around.

Plot doesn't make sense, characters are so cheap and with zero motive for what they are doing whatsoever.

Only few things that stands out are some makeup design, normal zombies movements and an action scene with Bautista at the end.

The Experiment (2010)

There are some bits that are not so convincing and motivations that could have been elaborated better (maybe if it was a bit longer).

The type of sci-fi you would encounter on some Isaac Asimov story: that use the element of sci-fi just as a premise for a dilemma or experimental though.

The actors, music and the CJI are flawless.

PS. I case i didn't manage to convince you to watch this movie: Alicia Vikander exhibits mother nature's costume at the end of the movie.

9 stars for season one

But season 2 deserve at best 3 stars for the animation and sound design.. everything else is just a disappointing downgrade from season one.

Jupiter's Legacy (2021)

Bad in a surprisingly amount of ways

Usually when you think about a series, you can spot one or two things you didn't like, but this one make you discover ways a series can be bad you never thought before.

The action scenes are one of the most last I have seen in any tv series. It doesn't help that the camera and editing try to hide it, making it way worse.

There are plenty of times scenes just cut and the story moves forward without any flow going on. And you just wait there wandering what happened.

Costumes are so bad it is impossible for you to try to be immersed in the scene.

The story is all over the place and you really don't know where it is going till the last episode.

PS. There are so many times people make decisions that doesn't make absolutely no sense, considering their powers (wich btw are so last and already seen everywhere).

I just hope this series is cancelled.

Don't watch it.

Allied (2016)

Just a good ww2 spy movie with a fenomenal cast

A well made spy movie from start to finish. A simple story that stands out for it's impeccable execution. It's from the director of Forest Gump, so that should sell it to you already.

The Game (1997)

It was one of those movies you see recommend on Netflix for a year but never really catch your interest.

The movie has its ups and downs. A bit slow in the second act, but you have to keep on watching for the ending, wich i really didn't see it coming (I mean, i knew it would end that way, but it reached the result in a different way).

Overall good movie and still enjoyable in 2021.

The Silence of the Lambs (1991)

Otherwise is a good movie. Definitely not a masterpiece as many would suggest, don't keep your expectations too high and you will be good.

Not for everyone maybe, having some really grafic scenes. Overall it's still enjoyable 30 years later and has become a classic.

The Father (I) (2020)

Damn it made me cry

Everyone is mentioning Anthony Hopkins and rightfully so, he did an amazing job here, something you may not be used to this days. But I also want to take a moment to thanks all others who worked on this movie. Everything is all so cleverly put together you forget everything else around you and totally get captivated by the story. It just shows how you really don't need a huge budget to make a really good movie (well I'm guessing 90% of the budget is for the 5 actors).

Ps. Fun fact about Paris: they don't even speak english in there.

Drive (I) (2011)

Well, that was a lie.

In reality is just a 'simple' story, that is perfectly executed from start till the end.

There is a bit of violence also, so not suited for children or a romantic movie night.

Unfortunately can't give more than 8/10 cause of the 'bad guys' being a little generic and 'predictable'.

PS. I knew Gosling as the guy from the La La Land, so I'm glad I watched this movie and changed my perspective.

Forrest Gump (1994)

Run Forrest, Run!! And go watch this movie.

Tom Hanks here is something that will make you binge every other movies he has done.

One of those movies you will recommend to every person you will encounter in life and the answer will be that obviously they already have seen it.

Nightcrawler (2014)

2 hours just fly. The plot is nothing too exceptional compared to others Gyllenhaal's movies, but is just so good you forget everything else around you.

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (2018)

I saw the first Spider-man movie in 2003 and all that followed, but this is just something you never saw before.

It's hard to describe how good this movie is, so you better just watch the trailer and you will be convinced.

PS. Thanks God they didn't ruin it like with The Falcon (2021 series): here spider-man just happened to be black and that's it, it doesn't make him any better of worst for that.

Django Unchained (2012)

Best Tarantino movie and you can't change my mind

Jango (D is silence) is just one of those movie you can watch every year and it never gets old.

It's also the origin of those Di Caprio memes you saw online, so you know is good.

Also Christoph Waltz stole the show here and made me discover all other his movies.

Cosmic Sin (2021)

Any review i read about this movie was more entertaining than the movie per se. There are a lot of movies that are so bad that you get angry with yourself for wasting your time and you feel regret for not going to the gim or cleaning the house instead, but this is in a league of his own.

Without spoilers (even though, if you like watching alien movies, you already saw everything this movie try to tell), this movie is just a weird mix of bits of differet alien movies, a lot of cliches and a black hole full of cringe from bad actors.

I'm not kidding, there is a scene at the beginning where they take 10 min to suit up, so you just watching 10 min of guys putting on some clothes. I'm pretty sure real astronauts take less.

PS. Don't know what happened to Bruce Willis and his career, but it doesn't look so good for him.
