Promising Young Woman (2020)
Want to dig feeper into moral discourse
Finely plottwisted, greatly states moral problem about wrongs of a rapist and how there is no some moral force to stop him from even murder. Really like the movie and great work of cameraman also.
Mike Birbiglia: My Girlfriend's Boyfriend (2013)
You can't choose who you love
But you can choose what you will rate 7
I felt that there were too much moments with deep-thought-silence. Overall - good.
Cats (2019)
Do I really have to finish?
There was zero interest in this after first 1,5 songs. Maybe I will try to watch it, but man - I so do not want it.
Musical, right? Choreography is present but it is mostly CGI. So now what?
Tiffany Haddish Presents: They Ready: Chaunte Wayans (2019)
She's funny
Good comedian, I laughed good. Like her personality.
Tiffany Haddish Presents: They Ready: Aida Rodriguez (2019)
Black Guy at a Bus Stop Day
Few jokes and hating of men. Not good, didn't like.
Ratatouille (2007)
Pure classic
Good movie as always. I'm a bit tired of classical cartoons, but yepp, it's alright.
Get Out (2017)
Need to re-watch
Interesting horror, like the hints, the style. Awesome movie.
Iliza Shlesinger: Unveiled (2019)
Idunno
Don't want to write a review, cause I felt disconnected for the whole showtime.
Eld & lågor (2019)
Alright
Just your ordinary movie. Couple interesting scenes but nothing to watch really.
Im Keller (2014)
So boring
I just couldn't watch without skipping almost entirely.
Idi i smotri (1985)
Intense and brutal
Heavy imagery, horror as it is. I consider the scene, where Flera shoots Hitler's picture and war chronicle been playing backwards, one of the greatest scenes I saw in movies and kind of scene only movie as media can portray. Great movie.
Cruella (2021)
Just okay
Not much interesting stuff, not "Joker" level at least. One-evening-movie, easy forgettable.
Death to 2020 (2020)
I had kek'd a couple keks
Half-full Petrosyan style, but when I laughed - I laughed good. Best YouTube rewind out there.
12 (2007)
Too loose
Too much additional unnecessary details, not convincing, too off-point. Reminds me of a collection of cool stories, not thorough criminal discussion. More of a comedy than serious movie about justice. Not good.
12 Angry Men (1957)
More of a theatrical action
I believe it is better off as a book, but still good acting. I somehow like that minimalistic one-room action.
Taxi Driver (1976)
/b/tard fantasy? haha
Good movie! Great soundtrack! Awesome character if you got it right. Am I right that whole after-policemen-arrival-scenes were just Travis' dream before death?
Green Eggs and Ham (2019)
It was interesting and funny
Really good cartoon. I like the humor, the style, unexpectedly deep characters (of Sam in particular), and great blend of 2D and 3D animation.
Tho I didn't like the sharp turn in storyline by the end of the 1st season, but still it is okay.
Great cartoon.
Love, Death & Robots: Three Robots (2019)
Guys, I don't get it
It's not interesting. There's nothing interesting, nothing.
Klaus (2019)
How miracles are made
Great classic cartoon.
Storytelling is masterful.
Story itself is kind: I like it even when I usually prefer more mature and ambiguous ones.
Perspective on the origin of Santa Claus is interesting: I overlooked the main idea due to not being attentive at first, despite obvious signs.
Besides, there are some lessons on humanity to be learned and I liked it.
I love the animations: great mixing of 2D and 3D.
Music is fine: OST is great, but some songs felt a bit off - too poppy, or too contemporary for the cartoon's entourage
20 minutes into I already knew I want to re-watch it.
So, great classic cartoon.
Moonlight (2016)
States the issue not expanding the matter
I don't know guys: the topic is deep but the execution is not. I expected something more in-depth. Have nothing more special to say.
Love, Death & Robots: Sonnie's Edge (2019)
I just don't get it
What is the appeal of the first episode?
Is it violence? Or eroticism?
Graphics are amazing, yeah.
But storywise...
Ugh, I dunno.
Seemed awful.
Guess, need to watch another couple of episodes.
Eighth Grade (2018)
Good movie
Feels like it should be a short-film. Around 20 min in length, I guess.
Bo Burnham: Inside (2021)
Not stand-up comedy
DIY feeling and rawness, neuroticism of a performer with no audience, not much comedy but a lot of dark reflection on self and societal flaws.
More of art-house movie than stand-up comedy, it fits great in the line of his previous work. I like it, but seriously: he obviously not feeling normal, what the heck...
The Mitchells vs the Machines (2021)
Why 18+??!
Obviously, it won't be interesting for adult audience: it is predictable, not innovative, not logical, has nothing new to say, and the whole smartphone-apocalypse to the main topic of the movie is more like a fifth foot to a dog.
Still I had laughed couple of times.
I think the combination of 2D and 3D animation were good. Also, good colors.
Was watching when my girlfriend was sad. By the end of the movie her cheeks were wet, but she was smiling.
Feels Good Man (2020)
Good documentary
I liked the animated add-ons. Overall it's a point-A-to-point-B story, really unique tho. Reminder about unpredictable future of our creations. Good documentary. Must see.
