The Lake on Clinton Road (2015)
HOLY HELL this movie sucked
I'm just trying to watch random horror movies at random and I've found some keepers, and some crappers.
1 ACTING- Oh my freaking jersey shore **** it's so bad, it tries so hard to be over the top and trust me I get it. I know it's a horror movie and a cabin in the spooky woods horror, so of course it's gonna have cheese, but this is stale horrible old crusty cheese and Friday the 13th/hatchet/ Halloween ones have GOOD CHEESE. The chubby white guy was laughing at everything and for no reason some times, he even openly and loudly admits he is the goofy white chubby guy. The girls acting is mediocre at best.
2 SOUND/MUSIC- The audio quality ranges from not to terrible to downright dumb and stupid. The "party music" choices are so forced and don't flow with the scenes, especially the party montage scenes. It will happen so abruptly and scared the crap out of me a couple of times, and sometimes the music will go from 2015 hip hop rap to 70s 80s killer clowns from outer space stuff. It doesn't make any sense at all and the audio will sometimes like over lap? The girls will scream or guys will scream and the mic like can't pick up all of it at once so it sounds static/or whatever that word is. The screaming is so loud the mic can't pick it up and the audio starts cutting (for like a second to be honest)
3 EDITING- Some stuff is alright has a moment or 2 where it's watchable, but I'd say 85 percent of the movies editing is unacceptable. It will show the car pulling up the drive way and show us 15 different angles and cuts ALL A 10 SECOND WINDOW.
Maybe my hopes were to high? I don't know man the title sounded interesting considering Clinton road is a "weird place". I suggest you watch it regardless of the horrible rating I've given, I believe personally in order to judge a movie you should first watch it! BMAN OUT.
Battlefield 2042 (2021)
So I'll be honest so haven't played the game, considering it's only multiplayer and portal (no campaign sadly)
I haven't played it being honest, but seeing twitch/YouTubers/streamers play it, looks like EA has failed big time on delivering the battlefield games we always know. They rushed it and didn't give a chance or time which seems to be the reasoning behind most games coming out now. I started with battlefield 3 and played 100-200 hours of multiplayer and beat the campaign/collectibles and such. It was such a amazing game even graphics now a days are still gorgeous and gun animations are top noch. With battlefield 2042, characters look like Minecraft Steve sometimes, guns don't function when aiming down sights, HIT detection is awful, servers and connection is unplayable, and then charging 60-100 something dollars for the game normal and deluxe edition is absurd and should be illegal. EA used to be legit and their games were always perfection even the dlcs but they have failed on this game and I hope they change or do something immediately before it's to late. (bf3-bf4 and bf1 and bf bad company 2 were the greatest)
Blockers (2018)
It was funny and at times pretty wild BUT
The jokes were usually hit in my opinion, I went into it open minded and seen the trailer thinking it doesn't look to bad? My issues with it is that if we are being honest, it very obvious that Hollywood was pushing a lot of certain things onto this movie, and at times it gets really pushy with a handful of political/controversial topics. I promise It's not that I was offended I'm for everyone making fun of everyone no matter the sides but man this movie was very one sided. Other then that, it was a nice light hearted(but definitely rated R) comedy that has a good message for parents with kids to always cherish those small moments or little school dances and try to be there for your kid as much as you can! Just turn off your brain and watch it it's not meant to be a golden globe winner!
Drake & Josh: Really Big Shrimp (2007)
Wow this is my favorite episode of season 4 without a doubt
Crazy Steve, Helen being goofy, shrimp, josh and his crazy one liners and the drake song makes me happy all in one! Hands down best episode of season 4 and mindy and josh as well.
Drake & Josh: Dune Buggy (2004)
Better then the first episode!
This one is really hard to beat considering it's the only episode that has Trevor in it even though he's mentioned tons of times throughout the whole tv show. The hospital scene was hilarious and the guy who played Trevor was top notch!
Drake & Josh: Hug Me, Brother: Pilot (2004)
Wow for the first episode it was very solid!!
I'll be reviewing every episode of drake and josh and the first one starts off as a banger! The writing in this show is phenomenal and the humor as well. The introduction for drake and josh is good and no spoilers of course! This is probably my 3rd favorite episode out of season 1!
