The Quiz
1 April 2025
Warning: Spoilers
Larry took notice of a quiz filled out in "Real Woman Magazine" at the trio's apartment. It looks like one of the girls has filled out the quiz and it appears she is interested in Jack. At least Jack and Larry believe that's the case. ...but which roommate? Janet or Terri?

Well they could all head off to Larry's boss's cabin in Big Bear and find out. Let the games begin.

Although in Season 4, going to Larry's boss's cabin turned out to be a disaster for Jack, who just wanted some rest and relaxation. On top of that the cabin was mote or less a shack. This time the cabin is much nicer. (Three's Company never did care too much for continuity....the laughs were more important).

The sets are more elaborate in this episode, including a set that has a pond. No more spoilers.

I enjoyed the show. JMHO.

Karma
25 March 2025
Warning: Spoilers
An excellent episode from the final season of Corner Gas. The "Karma" is Brett faking an injury to teach Wanda a lesson for not picking up cans off the floor at Corner Gas. Brett actually injures himself later at Corner Gas while continuing to fake the injury.

At the Leroy's garden, Emma and Oscar are miffed a cat is making a mess of the garden. Eventually the cat (Mittens) is caught by Karen. Sadly for Karen, she is guilted into keeping the cat. After a turn of events she winds up trying to convince the town she's not a crazy cat lady.

There is dunk tank, a bouncy castle and Hank lamenting he's not as unpopular as Davis.....all making for some good fun.

End of spoilers but there is quite a bit going on in this show. For me at least, a top episode.

Chaperone?
6 March 2025
Warning: Spoilers
An episode where we learn quite a bit about the (unofficial) OGC. (Official Girlfriend Code). Some rules are carved in stone but others are silly and may be discarded.

The A plot is Fran, more or less, serving as a chaperone on a date with Maggie and Eddie at the request of Mr. Sheffield. (Eddie was the young man Max caught kissing Maggie on the patio in the pilot). Maggie is awkward during the date. Is it possible Eddie takes an interest in Fran due to her outstanding personality and great looks? Dive into the show to find out. Some funny stuff in the scenes around the butler's panty.

We are also introduced to Chester. For those that don't know that was Fran Drescher's dog in real life. In the show, it was a gift from Max to CC. I don't believe Chester had any serious training but he would growl on cue whenever CC would pick him up.

An entertaining episode from early in Season One. IMHO.

Banacek: Fly Me- If You Can Find Me (1974)

In today's world....not too far fetched!

I really enjoyed this episode. It will be tough for Banacek to collect his fee for this one. How do you hide a large passenger airline in the dessert? Not really spoiling anything as it's already written the in the synopsis.

George Peppard, as usual, plays his part too a tee but.... Victoria Principal is terrific in this episode. (Not to mention she looks great).

Excellent chemistry in this show. It's really too bad Banacek didn't run for a few more seasons. There were a few weaker episodes but I pretty much enjoyed the entire series...

....many, many years after it aired. Highly recommended.

Actually in this episode the supporting cast really shines. In general this episode is very well acted, directed with a good story.

No spoilers here. A little undercover detective works help crack this case.

For yours truly this is one of the top episodes in the series.

Highly recommended.

A Gardening Tool Of Course....
26 February 2022
For your truly this was the standout episode of Season 1. (Don't get me wrong, as I really enjoyed Faceoff & Hook, Line & Sinker). This would be the episode I would take to a desert island if I could pick a single episode from Season 1.

A simple homonym created quite a bit of comedic chaos.

Highly recommended.

An episode where you don't see the apartment.
21 July 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Almost everything takes place on the sets of the ski lodge. The opening is at the Reagle Beagle.

Jack says he's an expert skier to impress a girl named Inga. Of course, he can't ski at all.

Larry's fake cast provides a lot of laughs.

Furley attempting to avoid the rather plump masseuse was terrific.

Janet trying to teach Jack how to ski at the very last minute is a ton of fun. Watching Janet accidentally push Jack down "The Flying Dutchman" was priceless.

One of the top episodes from Season 5.
