BachelorMan (2003)
Finally an independent movie that avoids the moral high ground
Hilarious movie. Full of great gags and big laughs. David Deluise is really hysterical as the 'ever on the prowl' Bachelor guy who meets his match when the sexy Missi Pyle moves in next door. She was that funny scene stealing alien in Galaxy Quest that got married to the Tony Shaloub character. The movie is loaded with Bachelor Tips and also includes some great 3-D Toy Story-type animation. Outrageous at times but never out of control. There's even a 'boogie nights' gag toward the end of the film! And there are a ton of hot chicks in it too! Great friggin time!. But if you are are stuck up and not comfortable with your sexuality, you won't like it.
Valerie Flake (1999)
Fan letter reprinted here!
I just watched Valerie Flake on Sundance Channel. It was fabulous! I never sit through an entire movie, totally focused, hoping it will never end, but I couldn't get my mind away from this film for one second. The music was excellent and the acting brilliant!
Thank you for a very entertaining two hours on my Saturday afternoon! -H. Solomon, Kansas City, MO
