Luzifer (2021)
You've never watched something like this.
I appreciate the effort to show us a different horror story that makes you think who really is the devil. Is it a human Creation? Is it us? Is it progress? Is it technology? I think I'll be thinking of this movie for a while.
Doraibu mai kâ (2021)
Best movie of the year
If you are in a hurry, watch something different. If you want to let yourself go with the stories of the film, you will have many emotions. This film is pure poetry.
(M)uchenik (2016)
Outstanding, well-made and decent performances
This is the cinema we should be watching right now to rest a little bit of the same old famous faces from Hollywood and the same narratives.
The storyline adapts itself to the times we are living where the ultra Orthodox thinking is starting to rise again. Maybe it's not the end we were expecting to happen but it's the one a Russian direct can afford in their own political context.
El páramo (2021)
A bad version of The wind
As a horror movie fan I am very disappointed of this movie. It's hard to find new horror movies with an original argument, it is all taken from other movies, in this case, this is just a bad version of The wind movie.
I don't know how I managed to bare this annoying kid screaming the whole movie. Unbearable.
They could have developed more the monster character but they were to scare to show it more.
I don't recommend this movie.
A Teacher (2020)
You never expect to turn into a deep complex drama
The narrative changes in the last chapter and you really feel bad for the characters. I was expecting less from this show and it surprised me. I recommend it.
The Wolf of Snow Hollow (2020)
Surprisingly good
I had low expectations about this film. However, this is the proof that low budget films deserve an opportunity. So don't put this film aside just because of bad reviews. This is a new interpretation of wolf movies stories. I'm glad I didn't pay attention to the comments.
Cruel Summer (2021)
This is like a Mexican soup opera
It's drama after drama after drama. If you saw first season of pretty little liars is pretty much the same. Bad acting, bad screen. Annoying characters. Please don't bring another season !
The White Lotus (2021)
Best series I've seen I a long time
Every chapter is better than the one before. I love the dialogues, and the acting is good.
The Undoing (2020)
Everything fine until the last chapter
I understand now why everyone is complaining about the last chapter.
Sea Fever (2019)
Well directed excellent photography
I appreciate a new horror story. It reminds me a little bit of "The thing". Decent acting.
Serebryanye konki (2020)
A love story for teenagers
Beautiful photography, loved the scenarios and it made me want to visit Saint Petersburg one day. But c'mon there were many unrealistic scenes that makes you think is a soft romantic drama for teenagers.
V (2009)
Unknown cast but wonderful story
This series deserved a last season! I was sad to know they cancelled the show.
Life (2015)
Great story, wrong leading actor
I just can't see Dean Dehaan as James Dean that's why I can't rate higher.
El baile de los 41 (2020)
A history film that felt like spring break
They could have gone deeper into the characters not only highlighting upper class men but also including the perspective and narratives of non privileged folks. But they where more interested in the history of this event. Who were they? What happened to them? There is a lack of information here and I hope they make another movie with a historian guiding this.
His House (2020)
This is what we need in horror
It's amazing how the director achieves to give a critic on the reality of so many people that need to emigrate in order to save their lives. Not many times we find horror movies like this. This is a ten Stars movie for me.
Pyewacket (2017)
Slow but good
Im glad I didn't listen to the bad reviews about this low budget film that deserves a chance. A movie for horror movie fans.
Mary Shelley's Frankenstein (1994)
So different from the book
I know it's an adaptation from Mary Shelly's book, but why did they have to make a movie so different from the book? So many details they changed that gives you another perception of the story and characters that is not according to the book. In my opinion they should have honoured Mary by respecting her point of view.
The Night Clerk (2020)
Plain
The story was for me very plain. After you get to empathize with the leading actor nothing really happens.
Acting was good though.
The Block Island Sound (2020)
Kinda original story
It is kinda slow but it mantains you in your seat curious trying to figure out if it's a ghost or what story. They should have gone deeper building the story. However, it's not a bad bad movie.
Greenland (2020)
We have seen it many times
This movie is full of cliches. There is nothing new in here.
