Turning Point: 9/11 and the War on Terror (2021)
Extremely informative.
This documentary gives an insight into the before and aftermath of 9/11, including holding each president accountable for their actions. I've been taught much of this information in my college courses and done further research myself, not being blindsided. The hard truth of our nation's mistakes must not go unseen to prevent any events such as this from reoccurring. While people are commenting this is biased; please watch it to determine that on your own. Meanwhile, none of those reviewers explain why this documentary is biased to prove their point further; however, this is not Reddit, so I guess we cannot expect much.
9/11: One Day in America (2021)
No words..
Dreadful and horrific. What all the people in the buildings, bystanders, fire department, and the police department had to endure that terrifying day is unimaginable. The videos are stomach piercing, and the interviews are painful... this documentary is one of a kind.
American Horror Stories (2021)
Come on...
Ugh, I expect so much from this series. So annoyed because I love AHS and I'm sure a lot of fans out there are experiencing the same frustration.
El inocente (2021)
Shockingly good!!
YES FINALLY! A good series worth finishing in one day. You'd just wanna keep watching it to solve the mystery. Be warned, it is rated R for everything under the sun so if you get offended very easily, don't watch it.
Pose (2018)
Amazing!!!
I absolutely love this series. It's eye-opening, fabulously done, and the actors/actresses are spot on! I don't think I've ever cried during a show like this one. The stories and experiences are so raw that it affects you in some way shape or form. I can't express this enough but well done!!
Goodfellas (1990)
Masterpiece
I always look forward to this movie. No matter the time of day. Netflix puts it on every other 6 months or so.
1917 (2019)
Amazing film!
I must say, it's probably the best war film I've seen in a while. Lived up to my expectations. These war heroes have been through hell and back. I applaud the actors and directors for this wonderful masterpiece.
Crack: Cocaine, Corruption & Conspiracy (2021)
Interesting.
Corruption exists everywhere. Anyone who denies it, is completely blind. This film points out many issues in the early 1980's that led to the problems we are struggling with today. While watching the documentary, it didn't stride in one direction only, in my opinion. It wouldn't be a bad idea to research it further, of course. As anyone would after watching a documentary. Was there empty holes? Perhaps. But everyone interprets it differently. It's up to you on how you look at this issue.
