A Biltmore Christmas (2023)
Best Christmas Movie!!
Too bad they don't give out Academy Awards for Hallmark Christmas movies because not only does this deserve a Best Picture nomination but so do the two leads, Kristopher Polaha and Bethany Joy Lenz!!! In fact all the supporting actors were fabulous too in this movie!!
I have loved Kristopher ever since "Double Holiday" and even more so in "A Dickens of a Holiday"... he just continues to get better with every film he does!!! I also think Bethany is one of the best new actresses Hallmark has and her comedic timing is right up there with other actresses....
The story was wonderfully written and I love how they got the dialogue and also the wardrobe of the 40's spot on...
This is definitely one to watch and DVR for years to come.... Thank you Hallmark!!
#Xmas (2022)
Worst Hallmark movie EVER!!!
I've been watching Hallmark Christmas movies since the very first ones and look forward to them every year. I basically love all of them even though the are all mostly cheesy, predictable, repeated plots with just different actors and actresses. I have the Hallmark channel on 24/7 from Thanksgiving till New Year's Day EXCEPT WHEN THIS ONE COMES ON!!! It is THAT bad! The lead actress is horrible!!!! I literally couldn't watch her with all her weird facial expressions and goofy looks and I couldn't make out half the things she was saying because of her annoying mumbling. She was so obnoxious and watching a grown, independent, business owner still whining about her mother and childhood was just plain embarrassing. Her sister on the other hand, was actually enjoyable to watch.
The one thing that doesn't make sense is why didn't she just make the video with HER husband and HER OWN baby????? Of course there wouldn't be a movie then but that's EXACTLY MY POINT!!!! Hahaha
The lead actor was great and very handsome and there's just NO WAY in reality someone like him would be following her around everywhere like a love sick teenage boy!! TOTALLY UNBELIEVABLE!!!
And don't even get me started on the conceited, narcissistic wife of the famous tv couple!!! The way she treated her poor husband was absolutely sickening!!
Please please PLEASE do better Hallmark!!!!
A Dickens of a Holiday! (2021)
One of the best Hallmark Christmas movies!!!
This is one of Hallmark's BEST Christmas movies!! The two leads are exceptional in this movie especially Kristopher Polaha. His portrayal of Scrooge during the rehearsal scene is worth watching. I've loved him in everything from Double Holiday to Rocky Mountain Christmas and I hope he continues to make more movies.
I added this movie to my DVR collection and watch it every year. Everyone in this movie is very talented, and the relationship between him and his brother is unfortunately very common when a sibling becomes a popular actor in California and I really liked how this movie addressed that.
Christmas Bedtime Stories (2022)
Worst Hallmark movie!!
This movie is horrible, it's such a slap in the face to anyone who's ever lost a loved one in the military... usually I never watch any Hallmark movies that are about the military or servicemen because they never do their research to make them the least bit realistic but this movie was the ultimate in such a lack of research or compassion and understanding of what families deal with when loved ones are missing or killed
The actors in this movie were great as always, I truly feel bad for them being forever associated with this terrible movie and hope Hallmark has the decency for the sake of its viewers to NEVER AIR THIS MOVIE AGAIN!
A Holiday Spectacular (2022)
Absolutely loved it!!!
This by far is the best Hallmark Christmas movie!!!! It's full of nostalgia and beautiful scenes and it was wonderful seeing Ann Margaret and Eve Plumb (a.k.a. Jan Brady) starring in it!!
The storyline is just a basic "feel good" kinda movie and everyone was such so nice and kind to one another... no fake "ad executives, real estate developers, doctors, writers, personal shoppers, creative marketing directors, singers, antique shop owners, etc", no fake "going back in time, needing a fake boyfriend for the holidays, falling in love with a prince, etc", no fake Christmas towns with fake snow or broken down vehicles, no talking to angels or Santa's changing the course of someone's personality or life... just a very good story as told by a grandmother to her granddaughter auditioning for a part in a musical!!
You can't get much better than that!!!!!
Thank you Hallmark Channel for a wonderful movie!!
Christmas in My Heart (2021)
Painful to watch him sing!!
The movie was very enjoyable EXCEPT FOR HIS DREADFUL SINGING!!! I literally had to mute it till he was done! The storyline was good and the lead actress and young girl were very good... I usually like him in all his other roles and he's great in more of a comedic type role but unfortunately this was just a big mess!!! Watching him brooding around then that dreadful song was just toooo much to bear...
I watch all the Hallmark Christmas movies every year and has been doing so for probably ten years or more and most are just very good "feel good" type movies... but watching him sing just ruined this whole movie for me.
Young Sheldon: Body Glitter and a Mall Safety Kit (2020)
One of the best sitcoms ever!
While I wasn't a regular viewer of BBT, I knew of all the characters and now watching Young Sheldon IMO is truly a gem!!! I love all the actors, I love how it's set in the late 90's, and in this episode, McKenna Grace's performance was absolutely outstanding!!!
She's in her early teens and the grace, poise and maturity of her monologue where she is expressing her deep down feelings concerning her parent's divorce and her seeing how everything and everyone around her is changing was one of the best performances I have seen in a very long time! I would love to see more of her in future episodes and I look forward to many more years of Young Sheldon.
Double Holiday (2019)
One of the better Hallmark movies!!
Finally two great leads!!!! Carly and Kristopher are great together and so believable as co-workers with an underlying love/hate competitive relationship!!! Kristopher is an absolute joy to watch as he's funny and has just the right amount of sarcasm to be very attractive and likable! Also really nice to see the two holidays of Hanukkah and Christmas represented together!!! Great job Hallmark!!!!
Love the Coopers (2015)
Excellent Christmas Movie!!!!
I don't understand all the horrible, negative reviews of this movie!!! I absolutely LOVED it!
It truly is a very realistic portrayal of so many families today (dysfunction or not)...especially around the holidays. As a mother of four grown children, I can certainly relate to Diane Keaton's (the matriarch of the Cooper clan) character. When she was talking about how huge her love for her children was that it completely consumed her, I could definately see myself saying those very words. There was so many messages and "words of wisdom" in this movie that really makes you think and reevaluate your own life.
I may also be a little biased in my love of this movie because it was filmed in my hometown of Pittsburgh, so seeing my beautiful city, especially during the holidays, was an added bonus.
I highly recommend this movie and suggest that everyone make their own opinions and ignore all the haters and narrow minded people that gave such awful reviews
Christmas Made to Order (2018)
One of the better Hallmark movies
I really enjoyed this movie... especially after seeing a scene from my hometown Pittsburgh at the beginning of the movie, shot of our famous Kaufmann's Department Store Christmas Tree
Finding Santa (2017)
Worst Christmas movie ever!!
I have watched every Hallmark Christmas movie, and even the ones that are "less than desirable" and I can always find some redeeming quality in them but NOT THIS ONE!!! The leads are horrible, there is absolutely no chemistry between them, Jodi Sweetin walks around like everything she does is such a chore or bother to her, the guy she's badgering to play Santa is young and is as miserable as she is!! Maybe the movie would have been better with other actors playing the lead parts because these two are just too painful to watch
The Mistletoe Secret (2019)
Please do NOT CAST KELLY PICKLER EVER AGAIN!!!!
I love all Hallmark movies!!!! (Even the "not so good" ones!) but this is is just beyond PAINFUL TO WATCH!!!! She is absolutely horrible as an actress to the point I am embarrassed for her!! Why would she subject herself to these especially after the disastrous "Graceland"
So PLEASE HALLMARK.... listen to what EVERYONE IS SAYING AND NO MORE KELLY PICKLER!!!!!
It Chapter Two (2019)
So disappointed!!!!
I absolutely loved the 1990 It with Tim Curry, John Ritter, Annette O'Toole, etc.... (I literally had nightmares for days after it) and was super excited to see this only to be SOOOOO DISAPPOINTED!!! The CGI was embarrassing to say the least, the audience pretty much laughed the entire movie, (maybe this was really supposed to be a SPOOF on the original), the ridiculous clown head on crab legs scurrying around was an absolute joke, and all I did was look at my watch to see HOW MUCH LONGER???!!!! 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️ Extremely disappointed with this movie.
Christmas Perfection (2018)
Great Christmas movie!!
I have Christmas movies on literally from the day after Thanksgiving up until NYE so I've seen my share of them and I have to say, this is really a cute movie!! The lead actress, Darcy, has the right amount of believability and her best friend since childhood, Brandon is actually very funny. If you can get past the "weird" Irish accents, it's actually a very enjoyable movie.
