The Walking Dead: Splinter (2021)
Now we're talking
Wow, that was a ride! Princess is starting to become a really interesting character, the writers got very creative with explaining her unstable and over the top personality. PTSD, depression, anxiety, ADHD.. It's all coming together now. They're killing it with these COVID episodes, the way they're building up towards season 11 makes me so hyped for what's coming! IMO one of the best written episodes of season 10.
Did I mention imaginary Ezekiel is a beast?
The Walking Dead: Find Me (2021)
Amazing
In my opinion, a better episode than 'Home Sweet Home'. This episode is far from just "boring filler", it's so, so much more than that. In fact, 'Find Me' is one of the better written episodes in recent years. I really enjoyed the scenes involving Daryl and Carol, makes me even more excited about the upcoming sequel spin-off series. Especially their fight towards the end was great, very emotional stuff.
The best part about the episode was when Daryl reffered to Rick as his brother. Such a powerful scene! Can't wait for the next episodes.
The Walking Dead: Home Sweet Home (2021)
A solid introduction to 10C
A perfectly balanced premiere with a focus on character development, build up, reunions and some action. The Walking Dead has changed from film to digital which was unexpected for me, but which still turns out to work quite well! Many good moments to note here, if TWD continues on this track further in 10C, then this seems very promising.
The Walking Dead: Say Yes (2017)
Masterpiece
A school example of a superb character-driven episode where the love and importance of close relationships are in focus.
An extremely important story in the middle of all the misery that surrounds the group at the present time. The Walking Dead clearly shines most when they take a deep dive into the central characters in the series, and they succeed once again in the very strong episode "Say Yes", where Rick and Michonne play the main roles.
Highly recommended.
The Walking Dead: We Are the End of the World (2019)
Masterpiece
This brilliant written episode has to be some of the best work The Walking Dead has ever delivered. This is how you make the viewer connect with the villains, exceptional cinematography, dialouge and backstory.
"We Are the End of the World" deserves way more credit, I can't believe people are calling it "filler" and "boring", it's so much more than that. Season 10 is one of the most ambitious seasons in the history of the show, and I praise Kang and company for that. 10 out of 10.
