Sidonia no Kishi (2014)
Cliche' and Under-Explored Mecha Anime
The basic concepts of Knights of Sidonia should be interesting; an adapted future humanity on giant ark spaceships fighting aliens with mechs. However, none of these concepts are ever developed into interesting sub plots or lore building info.
- The city of Sidonia is never explored beyond a few bland shots despite being a flying city home to millions.
- Mech fights against aliens are overly dramatised without any detailed or sophisticated drawing of the scenes: throwaway enemys
- characters are extremely cliche', anime girls chase clueless shy mech pilot.
- Neon Genesis if it were boring.
Below the Belt (2018)
Below the Belt is more opinion & theory then Professional Review
Schaub puts little research into interviewing his fighters, his cathartic energy and constant emphasis on his own personal experience style this show as personal opinion vs valid skepticism.
Brendan Schaub: You'd Be Surprised (2019)
Woeful
Drawn out and stagnant, BS premiere to comedy is poorly prepared, pathetically delivered, devoid & boring
Space Cop (2016)
Heartwarming story told through the lens of past and present
Heartwarming story that plays on one's heart strings. The gripping story of a begrudged policeman from the future that returns to the past to share his life wisdom with a younger man whom is at the beginning of life's lessons
