Terrible, Terrible, and oh yeah, terrible
21 March 2004
Three words everyone: This movie stinks. I saw this movie on a movie channel (Thank God I didn't see it in theaters) and it was bad. The movie is about a successful man whose life goes down the drain after his wife commits suicide and leaves him a note, (Which, I might add, was the plot of the entire movie). In order to help him forget his loss he gets this brilliant idea of sniffing gasoline. Obviously, from the gasoline, he passes out and goes on with his day after waking up. Once the movie gets good he, again, sniffs the gasoline, making the movie bad again. To make things even better (saying ironically) is that the movie has an open ending. The only question the ponders at the end of the movie is simply: Why the heck did I just waste my time on this movie---3/10

Oh...
16 August 2003
Just saw this movie on TV and I have to admit, I was a bit surprised it was even on. There were so many goofs, mess-ups, and bad editing that an old episode of Sesame Street would have been better to watch. The acting was OK, but please, you can really feel the "Straight to Video" feeling. The cast/crew made this movie a bad melodrama. Yes, there is a message in the movie, but just wait until ten minutes before the ending to hear it. Trust me, you wouldn't even tell the difference.

Almost better than the first
31 December 2002
Excellent acting, screenplay, directing, etc. The only thing I didn't like about the movie was the length of time. It seemed to get a little boring at times, but it's well worth the money. The battle at the end was excellent, you won't be disappointed. 10/10

Excellent
21 December 2002
The movie was excellent. Saw it while it was theaters in 1998. The artwork in this movie is amazing. You should definitly buy this on DVD for your family. It follows the life of Moses, in case some of you didn't know. 10/10

Too sick-- SOME SPOILERS!
7 December 2002
Warning: Spoilers
This movie is a horror film, but thanks God that only less than 4 people die. The movie is about a man who steals 12 souls from deceased people and trapping them in his house made completely out of glass. Then he "dies" and his brother inherits the house. The story is boring after that. One man dies by a door sliding half-way though his body, (that will definitely make you shiver a little.) Another dies by being crushed to death by a wall sliding to them. And another dies by a deceased ghost breaking their back.

Please, don't waste your time. Read a book.

Oh...
7 December 2002
Well, I am SO glad I watched this on HBO instead of paying for it in the theaters or video store. The movie has some points, but, if you want to make it a worthwhile movie, I suggest that you become what the main characters are called...stoners.

you don't know what you've got til it's gone.
7 December 2002
I just finished watching this on NBC, and I was surprised how good it was. Most movies in black and white bore me, but this movie was different. It is about a man who has many obstacles in his life. He has dreams of traveling the world, going to college, and having a nice career, but it all shatters when he has to take control of his family's business. The man tries his best to support his family and business, but after some money is lost, he becomes desperate to the point of being suicidal. The ending is interesting; I'm not going to tell you what it is, (you can probably just look at another summary to get it) but in the end he realizes that he really did have such a "Wonderful Life".

WOW. This movie deserves every single one of it's Oscar awards. The acting, directing, modeling of the ship, ect. Excellent. If you haven't seen this movie ( I had long ago, but didn't have the time to post a comment) Shame on you. This has got to be one of the movies people will watch in the next generations.

If you must...
17 September 2002
Well, I am really glad I didn't see this movie out in theaters when it was. I just saw it today and I thought it was OK--Josh Hartnett gives a normal performance as a man who gives up sex for 40 days and 40 nights because he can't quite get an ex out of his head. After this decision it just sort of gets predictable: he meets a beautiful woman, their relationship gets more intimate, etc. etc.

The ending-- now I wouldn't want to do that, now would I? I'm not going to, but lets just say that the movie was PREDICTABLE

Oh, unless you REALLY, REALLY like this movie, just rent it for $4 and get it done and over with.

I give it a C+, it may been predictable, but it still had some funny moments.

40 days... is rated R for strong sexual content (There are 3 scenes) Nudity (Guys in boxers or shirtless, and one or two womens' breasts showing) Language and no violence

Very good, but VERY STUPID! SPOILERS
23 August 2002
Warning: Spoilers
Once again there are two spoilers in this comment...

I still know what you did last summer is the sequel to I know what you did this summer. This time it takes place on an island. People start dying half way into the movie, blood, suspense, blah blah blah. It gets good until the ending where they (SPOILER) kill off J. "Love" Hewitts character. Made the movie stupid. Glad Scream didn't end this way. Not to mention the newest Halloween where they kill off Laurie Strode, "the shapes'" little sister.

I still know what you did last summer deserves it 4.0 rating (as of 8/23/02) I suggest that you watch it on TV instead of renting it. Save your money.

Great job
18 July 2002
I'd have to hand it to Stephen King. He did a great job on this movie. Some good thrills, excellent graphics and animation, and a good cast. The only thing that he shouldn't have done... make it as long as Titanic. It made the movie and plot seem dull sometimes.

Dark Angel (2000–2002)
Great series--Great good-bye
31 May 2002
Warning: Spoilers
It's official, FOX has decided NOT to renew Dark Angel, it's once greatest drama. This series is (or should I say was) about a young woman, and all of her fellow "government projects" escapes from their base camp and attempt to live a real life. Set in the mid 2050 somethings, the series shows that almost everything is done electronically and track down anyone at anytime. Thus have all of the experiments hiding to avoid being caught an killed.

The young woman, Max falls in love with a human being, who is also against the government and is trying to put things back how they should be. However, at the finale of it's first (or second) season finale, the government injects her with an infection that prevents her from touching her lover, Logan.

Confusing? It usually is if you're reading something about a series when you've never seen it! Now, the SERIES FINALE, which by the way, occured AT LEAST three weeks from this date, takes out the slightest possability of this being a spoiler, is in the next paragraph.

The series finale, directed by James Cameron, featured all of the humans who hate the projects (known as transgenics-mispelled?) versus all of the transgenics. Simplar terms- Humans vs Projects Not to ruin the ending for you, I'm just going to reveal that there isn't really an ending to this series. Cameron ended it in a certain way it could go back on the air. We'll have to see, but not this year.--------------------------End

Ally (1999–2000)
Going to miss it
26 April 2002
Fox isn't doing really well. Terrible in fact. Now that X-files and Ally are now canceled, Dark Angel (Jessica Alba) has a chance of joining them. If that happens, Fox will have to fill in 3 more hours of new shows.

Ok, back to Ally, that's being canceled because of low ratings. Jon Bon Jovi, Christina Ricci, Matthew Perry and all of the other stars didn't work out. Ally was truly a comedy about the law. After May 20th, it's going to be "Ally who?" Just thank goodness Boston Public is looking forward to another season. Watch Ally McBeal, Monday nights on Fox at 9:00 P.M. Eastern, while you can!

Thriller:Great / Horror: What?
20 April 2002
This movie is Excellent, but why in the world would they call this a horror? No way, there's only one bad gory scene but other than that, there's nothing that really scary, granted that a thriller can be scary sometimes. I believe that if Nicole Kidman would have taken this part, it wouldn't have been better. Jodie Foster does a great job playing a mother trying to take control of her own home after three robbers want something in her home. Now, the ending: you have to conclude it yourself, but if you don't like doing that, there is no ending. What happened to the money and the "friendly" robber? You tell me, I just hope that this move, when it comes out on DVD, has an added feature of an alternate ending or something. I still would give it eight out of ten. Great movie

The best of them all
20 April 2002
Thos movie is the second of three about a girl who is getting chased by a serial killer. About six-eight people die in this movie, but the thing is, the movie's not that bad. The best one of them all I believe. One thing I would like to point out though, and I love this, ALL OF THE SAME STARS ARE IN THIS MOVIE! Can you believe that, it almost never happens. I NEVER watch a sequel unless it has the same actors in it. If it doesn't than it's stupid. Neve Cambell,Coutney Cox and David Arquette star. Love that killer voice "Hellooooo Sidney!"

More like a comedy
30 December 2001
A very cute and excellent adaption of Charles Dickins' "Christmas Carol" starring Kermit the frog, Miss Piggy, and Gonzo as the narrator. A very bright musical and comedy for the whole family to enjoy together!

Excellent movie. Some mistakes though...
29 December 2001
This movie is about an old man who didn't have a chance to play baseball when he was young, so his friend brings him to a "magical" man who changes him into a boy for 5 days. Once changed into a young boy, he is on a team the next day! (how convenient). The next 3 days he starts a relationship with a young girl on the team, delivers the coach's wife baby, and so much more. In the end (can it be even called an ending?) the boy is sadly turned back into an old man and the girls starts another relationship with her "ex boyfriend" The cost for these 5 days was a life...the friends life.

Some mistakes: Somehow the old man knows the girl's name in the beginning of the movie.

Weakest Link (2001–2003)
Forget "Millionaire"
9 December 2001
If you love the way "Millionaire" is played on ABC, you will forget all about it after watching "Weakest Link."

Weakest Link first aired on NBC in mid 2000, it's in it's second season. It stars Anne Robinson (voted the meanest host on television by BBC)

The game starts with 8 players. The first round is 2 and a half minutes and decreases 10 seconds each round after. The objective is to get 8 questions CORRECTLY AND IN A ROW to get your $125,000. You can bank earlier if you want (but money value is much less if you bank too early)

At the end of the round the real fun begins. You vote off the person you "think" is the Weakest Link. Once votes are revealed, Anne insults the players. It's so funny, you'll laugh with the audiance in the background!

"Link" is on Sunday and Monday nights on NBC and Friday nights on the PAX network.

Passions (1999–2008)
Finally a good soap.
1 December 2001
At first I didn't believe that soap operas should be on T.V. Then one day, with nothing to do. I watched Passions. I found it quite good. The fact that there are only 5 families in it (with other guest appearances) a witch (Juliet Mills) and Timmy, a doll (Josh Evans) makes it a very (how should I say it?) Unique soap opera. If you ever have to watch a soap opera, give Passions a chance.

Not better than the first
22 September 2001
I think many people who walked out of the theater after seeing Scary Movie 2 were a bit disappointed. It stars some of the same actors of the first, (Shorty and Cindy) and contains the same jokes as the first. But not like the first. There were a few moments in the movie that were funny, but when it comes to the first movie...it's worse.

Best Movie?
22 September 2001
Although this might not be everyone's favorite Chris O' Donnell movie, I believe that this is one of his bests. It is a story when a High School Senior, (Chris O' Donnell) falls in love with another Senior, (Drew Barrymore) who is a little crazy. This movie ends in a questionable ending. This is a movie you should see if you are a Chris O' Donnell fan.
