Listen to Your Heart (2010)
absolutely loved it.
I saw this movie just last night and I absolutely loved it. :) I was really surprised how taken back by it I was. Before I began to watch it, I saw it had a decent 6.8/10 rating on IMDb, and anything 6 or higher I'll watch. I really grew to love the characters. The relationship between Danny and Ariana is just beautiful. I'm a guy, so I'm not going to comment on the male lead actor's looks. Now the actress who plays the female lead, is so cute and beautiful and gorgeous, but not just that...throughout the movie, she just does such a beautiful job at connecting and developing her relationship with the male lead. I basically just loved how they were both really nice people, very sweet individuals, they weren't criminals or anything, it was such a sweet story. It's like a really smaller scale of The Notebook in my opinion, that's the quality of the film in my opinion. Not only did I grow to love their relationship with each other and how they treated each other, but I just really loved the actress and how she portrayed her character. She was so cute throughout the film that I cried a little. That's how much I enjoyed it. I would love to see her do more romance films, or even bigger films too, I see a lot of great potential for the both of them. :)
Wanted (2008)
Fantastic Action Packed Humor
I saw a midnight showing of this movie last night and ABSOLUTELY loved it!!!
1000 thumbs up!!! James McAvoy delivers a stupendous performance along with Angelina Jolie and Morgan Freeman. It's incredible action and special effects.
I wish this movie would be nominated for best performance by James/Morgan and Angelina and especially for best visual and special effects but I don't know because it's kind of comparing it to the matrix but also not really and at the time they dominated the whole year when they came out.
But I highly highly highly recommend anyone and everyone to see this movie.
It's got it's humor also and very funny mite I add.
Not Forgotten (2009)
Bit of a slow movie....it took me a while...
I saw an advanced screening of this movie, and it was definitely a slow movie, I thought, because...well first of all...some things were a bit confusing towards the end; and I personally thought the storyline, well when you read about it online it may sound better, but after I saw the movie I thought the storyline was really weak.
The acting was decent/decent-OK. The music is eh-eh-so-so. I wouldn't recommend it to my friends, only if they had seen everything or if nothing interested them and I'd say, "OK, well, check this one out and tell me what you think."
Simon Baker's acting is pretty - OK - to - good. Paz Vega is a fairly decent actress. This obviously and of course is just my opinion. Those who have some curiosity and interest in seeing it, go ahead and check it out and "leme know what you think."
August Rush (2007)
terrific movie hands down one of the best of the year....
I absolutely loved this movie. Each actor's performance and actresses' performance was incredible. the style of the shooting of the camera, the angle it was shot, the music, all of it truly wonderful. it was a decent length too. a lot of children's lives can be compared to this movie, a lot of orphan's lives i mean. Freddy highmore is doing so many movies and is doing them so well, before working with Johnny Depp, and now with Joanathan Rhys-Meyes, Kerri Russel, Terence Howard and last but not least, one of the greatest and more widely known actor's of our time, Mr. robin Williams. robin's performance was intense and great and dramatic. i could tell he really took on his character's role very well. Kerri Russell is beautiful and performs wonderful. Terrence does a stellar job. everyone does an absolute stellar job. now the one thing that didn't make this movie a 10, and I'm starting to see this a lot in other movies that are coming out now too, is the ending. they should've and could've done the ending different. some may agree, some may disagree. but overall, it was the bomb of all children substantial quality movies.
Big Nothing (2006)
awesome.
I absolutely loved this movie. It was the funniest dramatic action film I've ever seen in a long time. Great acting. You do not know what will happen next. That is true. The story will leave you on the edge of your seat, no really i was on the edge of my seat. I'm not kidding. I recommend this to everyone. David and Simon deliver a superb film. I haven't liked a movie this much since Boondock Saints. No joke at all. It's a must must see yes. Also, Natascha McElhone, Mimi Rogers, and Sarah Edmondson are absolutely amazing in this movie. Their acting is unbelievable. Please please see this movie. It's length is also perfect because it's nearly 2 and a half hours long. Rent or even better buy this movie right away.
The Simpsons Movie (2007)
funny
I absolutely loved this movie. It was hilarious. Though, the only thing I didn't really like about it was that it was really short. For The Simpsons Movie I thought because it's one of the funniest and longest running shows I've ever seen on t.v., that the movie itself would be 2 hrs or 2hr. 30 or something like that. But overall it definitely was worth the ticket. Bart Simpson, Homer, everyone. They were all classic. Comparing it to Family Guy, and I'm sure a lot of others may not agree with me on this but I personally feel, and again this is just me, that Simpsons is a wee bit funnier. Great job to the whole cast. 5 thumbs up to Nancy and the gang.
Transformers (2007)
one of the greatest movies ever made...awesome job Michael bay.
When I saw the trailer for Transformers, I knew right away that it was going to be amazing. And I was right. When I went to see it, of course, like most other major features, the theater was completely packed and I almost couldn't get a seat. The movie was incredible though. It basically had everything a smash-hit summer movie should have: action/adventure, comedy, romance (you know what I mean :) ), OK maybe not everything but it had a lot. I absolutely loved it overall. The acting was incredible, CGI awesome, story-line fantastic, and Shia Lebouf did an incredible job as the lead role and so did Megan Fox as his co-star. I give it 5 thumbs up. It was so good that it's still in theaters. I also loved the fact that is the only non-sequel in history (I think), to have grossed the most money on opening weekend.
