The Settlers (2023)

Absolutely pointless

This movie is disappointingly bad. So bad that after the end of the movie you ask yourself what exactly was this movie about? Why does the end of the movie deal with the life of an Indian who doesn't have much of a role in the movie? Why are these characters so quiet and behave like philosophers? But they are really wild people. This movie is a bad experience for director and he should first learn how to tell a story and then make a movie. Cinematography is good. He choose nice locations but it's really not enough fir a movie. There is a lot of documentary about the nature in South America and we don't need to watch a movie just fir beautiful places.

I can't recommend it.

Close Your Eyes (2023)

Real torture

When you see this movie, the first question what coming in your mind is : WHY ?? Why for ? Such long and slowly movie ?

What is the purpose for director? OK you have something in your mind. Kind of idea, a short story or some special moments. But why do you think that you have to make a movie for this idea ? Specially such damn slowly movie ? No! I really can't recommend it. This movie should be maximum in 01:30 hour. Not more ! But people must seat in the cinema and watch this slowly movie? Such disappointment ! Be far away from this movie, specially if you looking for a movie with story and happenings. No! Just forget that.

World War III (2022)

Nice movie with unusual end

Is this movie about Hitler? Is it about World War? Is it about people from the lower class of society? The answer to these questions is negative. This movie is about people. All the people we see in life and we are one of them. But what changes the course of our life and our behavior with life and people are the conditions that are imposed on us. We can be simple and ordinary people that life conditions and people can make us a terrible dictator. What we see in this movie. The main character of the film is a calm and harmless person. But a few things change him. People, society and daily life events. Does the director want to say that Hitler became a brutal dictator because of the conditions imposed on him? The answer to this question is not very clear. But by creating this challenge, the director shows the impact of human relationships and living conditions on people. I gave this movie an 8 and I think that if the scenes related to the movie about Hitler were made more professionally, this movie would definitely have a better chance of success.

A good movie with an unexpected ending

I really liked this movie. It was a great trailer full of suspense.

There were many suspensions when Caesar was stuck in Clara's house.

In this film, we are on the side of a psychic who himself says that he has never been a happy person. We don't know anything about his past. We only see that his mother is dying. The mother cries only at Caesar's words, and we find out that the mother knows that her son is mentally ill.

Caesar is alone and has no past. He has no future. The interesting thing for me in this movie was that the bad character of the movie is never punished and he even achieves his dream and has a child with Clara. This movie is not like other cliché movies and has a different ending for the bad character of the story. I suggest you see it.

At the End of the Tunnel (2016)

A very good movie! I wish it ended just a few minutes earlier.

What a good movie! This is the few Argentine movies I have seen and really liked. The suspension was well used, the cast was great and the filming was very good in those tough conditions. The soundtrack was great and used very well. I can only have two negative reviews. First, the film had a slightly longer time and could have had a faster rhythm. And secondly, the happy ending of the movie was a bit annoying. I have seen in many Spanish films that very much insist that the ending should be good. It is as if the director is worried about the emotions of the audience. I did not like this. I think it would have been better if the film had ended after Guttmann's accident and his death. The moment the new family hugged each other.

just ignore strange comments !!

I really can not understand how some people have written about this film: boring, long without suspension, and many more of these baseless comments. A lot of energy has been put into this film. The directing and acting were really great. The music was also very good. I remembered Hitchcock's psychological film. Both of these characters killed people due to mental problems. I just didn't like the overly romantic ending. It is very easy to write a review on a movie. We can easily say that it is a bad movie and say bad things about it. But making a movie is very hard work and it is different from writing with a mobile phone which is a bad or boring movie. We have to be a little fair.

A very good movie. The actors were great. Aura Garrido in particular was as beautiful and wonderful as ever. Only I did not understand why David took so many people hostage in the store? What was the reason for this? He wanted to help keep anyone from being killed. But he himself threatened several people with a gun. I did not understand . But this connection of different times was a very good idea. John had schizophrenia, but he knew more than anyone in the film, and he was able to help Nicholas ten years later. In my opinion, the rating given to this film on the site is very low. Some insist on ignoring the director's efforts. Matt's rating is 9.

The Body (2012)

A bad ending

My question to the director is: How can you waste a brilliant idea in the final sequence? I really liked the movie before the last sequence. But it was not good at all with the story that the police tell and that Carla is the daughter of the police and all these events were a plot. If the police and his daughter had intended to kill Alex, they could have done so much more easily. There was never a need for so much storytelling. Due to the bad ending of the movie, my score for this movie is 7 out of 10.

And it can be said that it was predictable. Kingsley's acting was very good and the soundtrack was very good. I can not give this film a score higher than 6.

It's amazing movie . One of the best by Bertolucci . Symbolic and deep . I recommend it to everybody who like deep movies and is tired of Hollywood .
