Desperately Seeking Soulmate: Escaping Twin Flames Universe (2023)
The Making of a Cult!
You get to see how a cult is formed. Starts out as a scummy scammer who charges people to heal their ailments, even cancer and then grows into an abusive, exploitive cult that promises love. Instead, it coerces men to abuse and rape their partners and brainwashes the women into complying. It also forces people into stalking and being aggressive towards exes or their crushes in order to "get them". If all this wasn't bad enough, they coerce people to change their gender and sexuality! What's next? It's too scary to imagine!
Jeff and Sheleia prey on the vulnerable and lonely people. First, they provide them with an online community of "friendly", like-minded people and promise them that they'll find something better than fairytale true love and wealth. Then, they start controlling them - for people who don't know, it is HARD to get out of such abusive and controlling relationships. Save people from joining this group by letting more and more people see who and what this cult truly is.

Their business is manipulating and abusing people
I recently found this on Netflix and I binged it on a Sunday. I also found another docuseries about this called, 'Desperately Seeking Soulmates: Escaping Twin Flames Universe' Both the docuseries are very good, you get a lot of needed information. They need to be exposed and charged with encouraging and being accomplices to crimes (stalking, physical and sexual abuse) and is there a law or something for coercing/brainwashing someone to change their gender/sexuality?

Outlast (2023)
Started out well but Netflix ruined it by casting horrendous bullies
This show has a great premise. Watching regular people survive in the wilderness and picking up some tips from them. But instead it's just another trashy reality show.
I can't continue watching these terrible people who "play by the rules" and steal, bully and terrorize the other teams. If there are no other rules other than to work as a team, then is murder allowed? Because one of the bullies tells a player that she's forcing to leave that it's the wild and that there are no rules. To which this sane person replies that it's still the USA.
The contestants with skills and morality had to quit because it wasn't a game they signed up for. Netflix tricked us too. Just imagine how good this show could've been if not for these "villains". Also, why aren't there more challenges/supplies for the teams? I thought that the helicopter would drop more interesting challenges...
What kind of morons were involved in creating this? Sorry, but it's so a annoying to watch something so cheap and trashy when I was expecting something else.
The Stranger (2020)
Only watch if you have nothing else to watch -- utterly ridiculous show!
This show angers me. It's badly written and has a terrible plot. It feels as though it's someone's first (ambitious) attempt at writing a script. I should know, the first movie I wrote turned into a pathetic melodrama instead of a mystery/action flick.
The pilot hooks you in but goes downhill from there. The show strays far away from a mystery/thriller and joins the reigns of a cliched soap. It's predictable, stupid and plain silly.
If you enjoy a dumb show to kill the time, go for it. I was in quarantine when I watched it. If you enjoy good shows, please pass on this. I've no idea how it currently has a rating of a 7.3. I think 5.5 would be very generous.
The Falcon and the Winter Soldier (2021)
Such a let down.
I'm annoyed at how much of a let down this show was. The only two episodes I enjoyed were written by Derek Kolstad (John Wick, Nobody). The show had a lot of potential but the plot was such a mess! The plot line was jumpy, as though written by an amateur.
The few minutes Julia Louis-Dreyfus appeared on screen were some of the best. She's such a great actress that she can work magic with only a few words. Daniel Bruhl was also really good. I was excited to see Carl Lumbly. Unfortunately the best characters got the least screen time.
It's sad when many shows fail when they tackle real and relevant issues. If the writing was better, if the plot was solid, if the villain was charismatic, if the hero was well defined, maybe then it could've been a good show.
Netflix's Daredevil did such a great job (S1 & 3) setting up the hero, the villain, the anti-hero...sigh... Really annoyed at Marvel!
Stargirl (2020)
Poor Acting, Bad Writing and Fake Reviews
It's pretty evident that the high ratings are mostly fake. This is a terrible superhero show. From a nerd who loves comic books and gives every superhero show a chance, I got to say, this is one of the WORST. Don't waste your time. I doubt if even preteen girls would enjoy this garbage.
The lead actress is simply terrible at her job. Not sure how she got the role. The only bit I enjoyed was the opening scene in the pilot. It's nice that DC picked up JSA, unfortunately they botched it. I had high hopes after Doom Patrol. If you want a good and current teen superhero show, watch Young Justice. Yes, it's animated but it's real good and only gets better.
