Finally, they give us a good werewolf movie that we can enjoy!! No more people turning into hideous raging monster looking creatures with there eyes and veins popping out. We get the beautiful and mysterious natural looking wolves. I just got back from a free screening of it, and I really enjoyed it and everyone else did in the packed audience. It is the best werewolf movie in my opinion and can be enjoyed by everyone due to it not being a blood fest. You can even take your kids to see it. There is no profanity at all and no sex. Just some violence and blood of course, but only a little. I definitely recommend this. You will surly enjoy!

People, come on, don't go watch this expecting to see another "Beauty and the Beast" or "The Lion King." Read the title of the movie for crying out loud. That should give you a clue that your not going in to see an epic Disney or pixar animated masterpiece. The movie is not even distributed by those. It's by Lions Gate films. Anyway, onto the movie itself, no, it wasn't the greatest kids movie ever made. But it will make you and your kids laugh and provided a whole new twist on the fairy tales that we've come to love. Take your kids or whoever and go see this movie, not expecting to much from it, and you will enjoy it. Don't be so harsh and critical of a movie called Happily N'Ever After. If you are, then go see The Good Shepherd or Children of Men.

Great Family Movie

First of all, disregard the other absurd foolish reviews complaining about that the movie has male cows and there's no such thing. Yeah, we know there's no such thing, but it's just a darn movie, dang. People need to lighten up!
Anyway, onto the movie, it really is a great family movie. The whole theatre was cracking up mostly the whole time. It was really funny, and children and adults will both love it. Just to note though, there are just a few scenes where younger children might be a bit frightened, but it's not enough where you should not take them to see this. I highly recommend this to everyone. Heck, I think some of the adults in the showing I went to were having a much better time than the kids. If your in the mood for just some great entertainment that the whole family can see, this is the movie to see.

Dang, I don't remember the last time I laughed this much in a movie. And it wasn't just me, the whole theatre was cracking up BIG time!!! No, this movie isn't gonna win any awards or anything, and yes, the plot is silly and ridiculous, but that is exactly why I go to the movies. To escape from REAL life. And this movie was a great escape. Uma Thurman was the perfect choice to play G-Girl. She is so damn good at being funny, bad, just everything you would want in your not so average superhero. Luke Wilson also does an outstanding job as playing the witty boyfriend of G-Girl. All in all, I highly recommend this to all who are looking for a great romantic comedy that includes a superhero. lol You will not be disappointed!!
Pirates Vs. Superman

and as you can tell by the latest box office readings, it proved to be correct. Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest has brought in a whopping 132 million over this weekend alone, while leaving Superman in the dust, which earned a measley 21 million, pretty low if you ask me for it being in its second week of release only. Why they put Superman to go head to head with the POTC is beyond me. They should've known the man of steel would stand no chance against all them damn bloody pirates!! Now onto the movie, all I have to say is WOW!!! This was an awesome fantastic sequel that really lived up to the first. And I might as well go on to say it might have even surpassed the first. Everything was outstanding. The acting, directing, special effects, visuals, EVERYTHING!!!! All true Pirates of the Caribbean fans will not be disappointed! Johnny Depp is defintley of course the stand out in the film as Jack Sparrow. The entire theatre was cracking up mostly the whole time. Dang, now I really know he was born to play this role. I couldn't see anyone else playing it but him. The other returning players also gave outstanding performances. Orlando Bloom was given way more screen time this time around then in the first and deftinley shows his talent that hes a fine actor. And Keira Knightley again shined playing the lovely stubborn Elizabeth Swann.
And I have one thing to say to all the people who are bashing this sequel and saying it wasn't good at all because it just has a lot of action scenes and special effects and that there is no plot. So what??? The last time I checked, most people go to the movies to get away from the real world, so to speak. They don't want to be bored by a bunch of scenes where it's just talking and thats it. We want to see fighting, lots of action and special effects. Hey, if you don't, this is your wrong movie. Go see Gone with the Wind or some other sappy drama. I'll take this over any of those anyday!! And hey, if you didn't notice there was a plot, I'm wondering if your watching the same movie I am.
All in all, this is defintley the Big Summer flick of 2006. No doubt about that!! HIGHLY Recommended to everyone who loves a good awesome action oriented special effects extravaganza!!!! This will be a real treat for you. And yes, TAKE THE KIDS!!!!! There are some scenes that are frightening and scary, but not enough to make them cry. Outstanding movie!!! All Superman fans will love the new superman, Brandon Routh. He is the perfect choice to play the man of steel. The torch has been successfully passed from Christopher Reeve to Brandon Routh. Brandon gave an awesome outstanding performance. He is definitely a great actor and playing the man of steel is surly gonna make him a big star. I look for great things ahead of him in his future.
Overall, HIGHLY Recommended!!! Lots of action, suspense, awesome visuals and special effects! This is definitely the big summer movie of 2006. Maybe even the best movie of 2006, but we will just have to wait and see.

The Critics Are Wrong As Usual!!!

People, DO NOT LISTEN TO THE CRITICS!!!!!!! I just got back from seeing Poseidon, and it was awesome. You couldn't ask for more action in a film than this. Every second is filled with action, suspense, and keeps you on the edge of your seat the entire time.
As for people complaining about bad acting, bad plot, etc, I'm just wondering if they saw this same movie I did or just making crap up. The acting was top notch in here. Overall, the entire cast gave excellent performances, but with the 2 main standouts being Kurt Russell and Josh Lucas. They were perfect for the roles they played in this type of movie. Whoever did the casting, I give you credit. You really know how to pick your people. Oh, and Richard Dreyfuss is getting really old yes, but he shows he can still do some heavy action stuff. And as for the plot, yes, there is one. A big giant wave crashes into a big ship, people are hurt and killed, and a few try to find a way to escape, and they do. There you go. And what did you want, another Titanic, which runs about 3 hours long. Heck no, I would think not. This movie runs a good short 98 minutes, so you can't really complain about that. The movie does not drag on, and gets to the action right away.
So all in all, I highly recommend this action masterpiece to everyone who enjoys an awesome action movie filled with stunning visual effects and scenery. You can really tell that the 140 million budget for this film was used all the way and was not a waste. Great acting, great visual effects, great cast, great plot, overall GREAT! Go see. You will not be disappointed!! :)

As you can tell just from the title of my review, I'am a devout Christian. So for this Easter 2006, me and my family viewed this movie for a second time. I first saw this movie when it first came out. Not in theatres though, and not even in the USA for that matter.
I'am in the Army and I was deployed to Baghdad, Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. So I was really disappointed when I heard that it was out in theatres in the US. But, they already had pirated copies of it out over there, so yes, I picked one up, and viewed it later that day after I got off work. And, after watching it, I was totally speechless and teary eyed. The emotion that this film gives you is totally off the chart. And if you don't feel anything, I don't think your living. How could you not?? Seeing what happened to our Lord Jesus Christ. Those horrific cruel acts done to him.
People say the violence is gratuitous and over the top, and its a bloodfest, yadda, yadda, yadda. Come on people!!!! WAKE UP!!!!!! Jesus's death wasn't pretty!!!!!!!!! It was exactly like this film depicted it. Just read the Bible and you will know. This film is entirley accurate on the Gospels. And all aspects of this film are outstanding. The acting, directing, music, etc. EVERYTHING!!!!!! So all in all, this has got to be the one of the best, if not the best, motion pictures of the last hours of Jesus's life, his crucifixtion, and his resurrection. And I recommend if you can't handle are the blood and violent scenes in this movie, then the next best Jesus movie is Jesus of Nazareth from 1977. This movie is of his whole life though and is about 6 hours long.

In most of the movie, I'am cracking up. Espicially the part where she is driving. Now that was funny. Anyone who hasn't seen this movie should! Trust me! You'll be laughing alot! :)
