The Big Lebowski (1998)

Is this the best Coen brothers movie?

It's really hard to put a blemish on this movie. As I remember, it really didn't do that well when it came out. It was just so good that it never went away. And probably never will. Quality stands the test of time. Great movie!

Twin Peaks (2017)

The first 80s part of Twin Peaks is awesome if you saw it then. It was something new and jaw dropping. Not all episodes last the test of time though. The new episodes I love more than I did the old ones. One hell of a ride into... what...? Make up your own mind. It's just fantastic! If this review was just for the new episodes I would give it 10/10.

How someone can take the source material and come up with this is sad. It deserves a better treatment. It's not terrible, but very far from ok. Some aspects are well done, but a no from me.

The greatest show ever made kids. A showcase in how you don't need big battles and special effects to tell your story. Perhaps the most stellar ensemble ever assembled to act out the most incredible stories ever told. Don't miss it!

Perry Mason (2020–2023)

I really enjoyed this and hope they will keep making more episodes. Everything is so well made it's near incredible. I'm only omitting one star because I think the story could be a little better. But please keep going.

The Vast of Night (2019)

I like movies that takes its time building up characters and story. This movie does that really well. Sadly, at the end it does not fulfill its potential. Still well worth a watch.

The Outsider (2020)

I read the book so I am familiar with the source material. I really think this is as good as it gets when it goes to adaptation of a so so King novel. I like Stephen Kings novels but a lot of them has bad endings. Great premise, but bad endings. This is no exception. But the team behind this adaptation does it really well. Worth watching.
