We Have a Ghost (2023)
Ernestly, such a ghost will always be welcome at my home.
I have seen so many movies about bad ghosts, good ghosts, gruesome ghosts and Patrick Swayze. But Ernest is the best! I felt the same sympathy for Ernest as I did for Patrick Swayze in "Ghost".
The movie was brilliantly executed from start to finish, despite it being 2 hrs long. I devoured every moment, every scene, every shot, every lighting and every verbal or non-verbal dialogue. Oh the landscape shots! Just mesmerizing. The actors, every each of them, should be cast for other movies together. Their chemistry translated so well on the screen.
I clearly recommend watching it. Otherwise you will miss out! So, go my fellow ghostbusters, and feast on the beauty of this movie! Xoxo.
Down a Dark Hall (2018)
Meh
Another teenage movie. Garbage at its finest, which will almost bore you to death.
Fatal Affair (2020)
Mehh
One reviewer said it is annoyingly boring. Well the reviewer was completely right. It was as bland and unseasoned as it gets. You know a movie is bad, when you start cleaning the house. Even worse, when you do not bother to go back to some scenes you missed because it's just not worth it. Give it a pass.
6 Souls (2010)
Not bad.
Not disappointed. It started out well, the beginning was intriguing and very well thought out. However, the ending could have been done better. Yeah, it kinda came full circle but it lacked... something. It's funny it ended abruptly as if the director just wanted to get it over with, but the middle of the movie was just too long with a couple of scenes that didn't make much sense.
Nevertheless, it was pretty decent, although I wouldn't watch it a second time. Julian Moore did a great job, as always. I mean, I liked the whole cast, just the storyline could have been developed better, especially the ending.
Slender Man (2018)
For the love of Jason, don't watch it!
Blunt acting, boring script, bad intro and nonsense ending. When you think that it can't get worse, oh well... it can. Monsters Inc is scarier than this wasteofatime movie. 1.30hrs I won't get back.
