Hyeong (2016)
Brotherly love, ups and downs
For once, a K-movie that isn't centered around romance, yet still, is fun and at times, heart-wrenching. Hyeong follows the development of a relationship between two brothers who had been estranged for some years - not to mention, one is disabled. The progression of their relationship had me angry at first, but at the end my heart was full, while I was nearly in tears. Definitely a good one, and worth the watch!

Funny, interesting plot!
I didn't expect to like this as much as I did. The ending will have your mind dwelling on the story after the credits finish! The actors in this movie did an amazing job, definitely gained some new favorites after watching it. Some banter, innuendo which was a little excessive - I feel there could have been a little less of that without taking away from the story line. Other than that, I loved how pieces of the story came together in the end. The ending was not really a happy one though!

Examines what it means to love someone for who they really are
I loved the perspective that this film provided. The female lead (FL) struggles with loving her bf, who looks different every day, for who he really is. It's a unique concept, and as the viewer, I sympathize with how the FL must feel in feeling that she loves this man, yet doesn't know what his face looks like. Many of my favorite and new favorite actors are in this film! Park Seojoon, Park Shinhye, Yoo Yeonseok to name a few. The movie is kind of what you might expect. I wouldn't say it's my favorite of all time, but still an enjoyable watch to pass a couple hours!
