A pure waste of time, barely a one time watch
19 March 2022
Series: Eternally Confused and Eager for Love Season: 1 Episodes: 8 Duration: 20 minutes long IMDb: 6.4/10

"Eternally Confused and Eager for Love" is a romantic comedy web series written & directed by Rahul Nair. It was released yesterday on Netflix, co-produced by Zoya Akhtar & Farhan Akhtar. Despite the presence of such creative heads, Rahul Bose, Suchitra Pillai, Vihaan Samat are on lead roles.

The story revolves around a 25-year-old boy who lives in Mumbai with his parents, is going through a quarter-life crisis. At some point, he wants to be in a stable relationship that will lead to a happy marriage. On the other side, he becomes desperate to get laid. He's introvert in nature and simultaneously he talks with his imaginary friend, Wiz considered as the voice inside his head.

This series had a lot of chances to shine but failed miserably. It feels like I am watching an American high school drama. I couldn't connect myself with any character at all. If they can portray the character of Vihaan as a high-school boy then the whole story could have been meaningful and engaging. In these 8 episodes, you will only see people meeting in cafeterias, house parties & clubs. The sole attraction of the series is The most attractive part of the series is an amazing voice performance by Jim Sarbh.

It left the audience at a cliffhanger. So, there might be another season coming. I won't suggest this series to anyone because I didn't find it relatable. To my opinion, "Eternally Confused and Eager for Love" is barely a one-time watch series.

The Wasteland (2021)
7/10
A good story, amazing cinematography
19 February 2022
Movie: El Páramo (The Beast/The Wasteland) IMDb: 4.6/10 Rotten Tomatoes: 60%

"El Páramo" is a Spanish horror drama movie that was first premiered at Sitges Film Festival last year. In the 19th century, many people decided to isolate themselves for escaping from the violence of war. In this film, the storyline revolves around a family of three who is in isolation from the rest of society. But they are visited by a terrifying evil beast that feeds on fear. Can the family save themselves from the beast or they would be prey to him?

I must say that the cinematography is amazing. The whole treatment of the movie has made a perfect atmosphere. Inma Cuesta's performance is praiseworthy. But I found Diego's performance dull. The movie doesn't only portray that loneliness is one of the biggest causes of mental distress, it also portrays a mother-son relationship. The transformation of Diego's character throughout the movie is beautifully portrayed.

To my opinion, "El Páramo" is a very good movie without a single jumpscare. If you are looking for a good horror drama film with a good story, I would suggest you give this movie a watch.

A Thursday (2022)

One time watch movie portraying a burning issue
17 February 2022
Movie: A Thursday IMDb: 8.2/10

"A Thursday" is a Hindi language thriller movie starring Yami Gautam, Neha Dhupia, Dimple Kapadia, Atul Kulkarni & Karanvir Sharma. This film is released today on Disney Hotstar.

Yami who is the female protagonist is a teacher of a playschool in Mumbai. She held 16 children, hostage, inside the school, she will cause no harm if only her demands are met. As the story goes on, the four pillars of India (Legislative, Executive, Judiciary & Media) came on the same page.

The storyline is really good. It focuses on one of the real burning issues of society. But the execution could have been far better. Performances of other supporting actors are way overdramatic. There are major loopholes in this movie. After a certain moment, you will find it very unrealistic.

But, I must say that Yami herself wipes out all the negative sides of the movie. It is one of her best performances of her in her entire acting career. This film will keep the audience on the edge of their seats through the climax.

The statistics shown at the end of the movie were very sad and disturbing. I wish that someday, the headline in the newspaper would be real.

To my opinion, "A Thursday" is a good movie with a social message. You can give it a watch this weekend.

Terrible movie. Ruined a good plot
23 January 2022
Movie: Mother/Android Rotten Tomatoes: 32% IMDb: 4.8/10

"Mother/Android" is a post-apocalyptic sci-fi survival thriller movie that was released last month on Hulu, an American streaming platform. The storyline portrays an advanced period where android robots are programmed with artificial intelligence and emotional intelligence altogether. People generally treat them as butlers. During an android uprising, the robots turn into killing machines. When artificial intelligence wants to take over the world, a young pregnant woman and her boyfriend escape their country and search for a safe place to start a family together.

The plot was nice but this movie is a major turndown. They gave the Androids a zombie makeover. There were huge time gaps throughout the movie. The screenplay is very poor. Lazy writing, terrible acting. There's not a single thing in this movie that I would appreciate.

You could gladly give "Mother/Android" a skip if you want to save your time.

It is currently streaming on Netflix as well!

The House (III) (2022)
8/10
A must watch
16 January 2022
Warning: Spoilers
"The House" is a Stop Motion adult animated anthology film that is released on Netflix this Friday. Three stories revolved around a mysterious house in different periods with different characters. The duration of each part is 30 minutes approx.

1. And Heard Within, A Lie Is Spun:

A family of four was constantly poisoned by their relative's rude behavior. They became frustrated with this. A miracle happened overnight and an architect offered them to build their dream house in return for nothing. The family just had to leave their old home. The children of the family could sense the house is not normal. The workers made new and peculiar adjustments in the house on a regular basis. Meanwhile, their parents became lost within the fascinating texture of the house and extravagant food. The house was able to tear apart the family far away.

2. Then Lost Is Truth That Can't Be Won:

Many years later, a rat portrays as a developer of the same house in City street wanted to sell the property. While refurbishing, he discovered that bug infestation was highly needed in this house. There were insects and larvae at every corner of this house. Meanwhile, a couple showed their interest in this house after property viewing. And, here the twist comes. You have to watch it because if I say a single word about the rest of the story, it will ruin the surprise.

3. Listen Again And Seek The Sun:

The city has been affected by a tremendous flood. Every corner of the city was drowned underwater. Mysteriously, the house survived. But it started to surround itself with the rising water. Rosa, a cat who portrays as the landlady of this house, was living with only two tenants, a hippie, and a fisherman. They paid their rents with fish and stones, but not with money. Rosa was extremely looking forward to the new beginnings. She wanted to fix the house desperately. Meanwhile, the spirit partner of the hippie visited the house and the story took a new turn.

Each of the stories represents the difference between a home and a house. House is only a collection of bricks whereas, a home is where you find comfort. Each story is unique in its way. The first two parts are very spooky, weird, creepy, and frustrating. The third part tells the story of letting go of the past and starting a new journey.

The animation and storytelling are beautiful. But it is nowhere near to dark comedy genre. Rather, it is very much creepy, a horror story of life. I found the trailer very promising. I knew that it would turn into something unique and I am not at all disappointed.

To my opinion, "The House" is a highly recommended movie. You shouldn't miss this.

Taboo-breaking love story
9 January 2022
Movie: Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui IMDb: 7.1/10 Now Streaming on Netflix

"Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui" is a Hindi language romantic drama film that was released last month in theatres. I always admired the direction of Abhishek Kapoor. "Kai Po Che" and "Kedarnath" are already on my list of favorite Bollywood movies. I was truly excited for this film to release. Deep down, somewhere I got a vibe that this movie would be different.

The plot revolves around a love story between a Zumba fitness coach and a bodybuilder. Ayushmann left no stone unturned in his performance. To my personal opinion, this is Vaani Kapoor's best performance to date. Hat's off to the entire team for presenting such a bold storyline. Abhishek's bravery and creativity made this film vibrant.

The movie is a rollercoaster ride of emotions, comedy, romance, drama, and so on. Each character portrays a part of our society. People are still living in a judgmental phase when it comes to the LGTBQ+ community. They believe in platonic love but they don't believe it.

I think, "Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui" is a film that everyone should watch at least for once. An important social message is hidden under the layers of entertainment, romance and comedy.

Decoupled (2021– )

One time watch
2 January 2022
Series: Decoupled Season: 1 Episodes: 8 Duration: 25-35 minutes long

"Decoupled" is a comedy-drama series that was released last month on Netflix, starring R. Madhavan, Surveen Chawla, Chetan Bhagat, and Mir Afsar Ali. The plot revolves around the marriage relationship problems between a misanthropic pulp fiction writer and a successful businesswoman.

The writing is very witty. The series showcases some of the daily life issues and thoughts in a very sarcastic and funny way. Madhavan and Surveen gave their best. But, in my personal opinion, Mir truly deserves a far better character than this.

The storyline portrayed the Richie-Rich culture of Gurgaon. There were many moments, I failed to connect myself with the characters and the plot. Otherwise, it was full-on entertainment. The humor was on point every time.

If you are looking for something light-hearted, then you should watch "Decoupled". It is a short series, so you can even binge-watch it. To my opinion, this series is good for a one-time watch.

Atrangi Re (2021)
5/10
The only good things about this movie are: Dhanush, Rahman and Irshad
26 December 2021
"Atrangi Re" is a Hindi language romantic drama film that was released on Disney+Hotstar this week. The plot revolves around a love triangle of one woman and two men.

Vishu (Dhanush) a Tamil medical student was forcefully married to Rinku (Sara), a girl from Bihar in an intoxicated state. Dhanush had an engagement with his girlfriend and Sara is already in a relationship with someone else. And here comes a twist!

If I speak about the performances, Dhanush won my heart. Sara improved herself in the terms of expression. Akshay's performance was average. The storyline was impressive. It shows how childhood trauma affects your relationship and life as well. Though, there are many loopholes in this film. The dialogues were very typical and "Oh! So filmy type" in some scenes. I must say, Rahman, Irshad Kamil, and Dhanush put magic into this film. They deserve a bow!

To my opinion, "Atrangi Re" is such a movie that I would not watch for a second time but I would listen to the whole album on a loop.

Klaus (2019)

A must watch Christmas film
23 December 2021
Movie: Klaus IMDb: 8.2/10 Rotten Tomatoes: 94%

"Klaus" is the English language Spanish animated Christmas film released in 2019. It is the first animated film from Netflix to be nominated for an Academy Award as "Best Animated Feature Film".

The plot revolves around Jesper, a lazy son who was forcefully sent by his father to a distant island named Smeerensburg to post 6,000 letters within a year. If he somehow fails to complete the task, he would be completely cut off from his family.

The local people of the island are always busy fighting with each other. They never felt the importance and emotion behind writing letters. Meanwhile, Jesper meets a woodsman named Klaus. And the storyline becomes more engaging after that.

If you are looking for a Christmas movie to watch this weekend, then you should go for "Klaus". This movie is about friendship, kindness, hope, and obviously Santa Claus. The visuals are amazing and eye-soothing.

To my opinion, " Klaus" is a highly recommendable Christmas movie.

Munafik 2 (2018)

Silly jump scares, poor editing, good for one time watch
7 November 2021
"Munafik 2" is a Malay language supernatural horror movie that was released in 2018. It is the second part of the trilogy. The third is coming on its way. This film became the highest-grossing local film in Malaysia.

"Munafik" refers to a person who is a hypocrite. It's a purely Islamic horror flick. There are many references from Quran and Hadith in this movie. The story of this film is connected with the first part. But if you haven't watched the previous part, there won't be any such problem to understand.

Abuja wants to divert the faith of villagers from Islam and forces them to follow his teachings. If anyone denies following his path, he tortures the person with his black magic. Sakinah, daughter of the Imam of the village asks for help from a preacher to save her family from the devil. Adam who already cluttered himself in his thoughts agrees to help Sakinah and the villagers from Abuja.

Syamsul Yusof is the director, producer, and male protagonist in this film. He is indeed a talented person. Camera work is impressive but the editing is extremely poor. I found the treatment dramatic. The jumpscares are predictable.

If you want to watch a horror movie at midnight inside a dark room then you would find this movie scary. Otherwise, "Munafik 2" is good for a one-time watch.

Enjoyed the first half, but the rest is utterly boring
6 November 2021
"Meenakshi Sundareshwar" is a Hindi language romantic comedy film that was released yesterday on Netflix. Sanya Malhotra and Abhimanyu Dassani star as a newly married couple. The storyline is about a post-marriage long-distance relationship.

The first half of the movie was sweet and entertaining. But the film loses its track in the second half. They got so busy giving a tribute to Rajnikanth, that they didn't focus on the main storyline. Character development is very poor.

Sanya's performance is the same as she performed in "Pagglait". Abhimanyu performed really well. I personally felt that there are too many songs in this movie. Even they have failed to set the proper mood.

In my opinion, you can watch the first half and skip the rest. There is nothing new in the story. The second half seems pretty logicless. It is an unnecessarily lengthy and one-time watch movie.

Movie: Koto no ha no niwa (The Garden of Words)

"A faint clap of thunder Clouded skies Perhaps rain comes If so, will you stay here with me?"

Each of us creates our fantasy world with the person we love. Noises of the outer world could not reach there. Silence never seems awkward there. We could live through our dreams. We could make promises, we could feel hope, love and ourselves. But is it the place or the person that gives us peace and comfort?

"The Garden of Words" is a short Japanese romantic drama anime that was premiered at the Gold Coast Film Festival in Australia in 2013. It's a love story between Takao, a 15-year-old schoolboy and Yukino, a 27-year-old working woman. I completely fell in love with the animation and the storyline. Not all love stories start in bright sunshine. Some start in the middle of solitude. Takao and Yukino both live in their sunny, chaotic world but they desperately wait for heavy clouds. The garden is their escape zone, their fantasy world where they can create memories with each other.

"A faint clap of thunder Even if rain comes not I will stay here Together with you."

I wish every Takao and Yukino out there, that their garden of words would turn into reality.

If you haven't watched this film yet, I suggest you watch it immediately.

Filled with loopholes but Dev's performance is amazing
4 November 2021
Movie: The Wedding Guest IMDb: 5.8/10 Rotten Tomatoes: 44%

"The Wedding Guest" is a British American thriller drama movie that was first premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival in 2018 starring Dev Patel, Jim Sarbh, and Radhika Apte. The story revolves around a kidnapper who got paid for kidnapping a bride from her wedding in Pakistan.

The first half was really engaging. But the movie suddenly twisted its genre from a thriller to a romantic movie. If it turned out as a thriller comedy, it could have been far better. There were many loopholes in the storyline. Some shots are really good though. But the most impressive part of the movie is Dev Patel. Jim and Radhika also gave their best here. But Dev overtopped everyone else's performances.

If Dev were not there, I would have skipped this film for sure. To my opinion, "The Wedding Guest" is a one-time watch movie.

Really good movie for one time watch

Movie: Under the shadow

"Under the shadow" is a Persian language psychological horror film which was premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in 2016. This movie was selected as the British entry under the category of "Best Foreign Language Film" at the 89th Academy Awards.

During the era of Iranian revolution, when people heard the loud siren, they ran into the underground of their buildings. People were under the post war trauma. They were fleeing from Tehran and wanted to live in a safer place. This film tells a story of a mother and her daughter. The situation is already tough for them. They feel the presence of a djinn in their house.

Narges Rashidi's performance is really praiseworthy. Though the get up of the djinns look very stupid. It is not scary at all. You will feel a strange loneliness throughout the movie. The metaphor used in the climax was very touching.

According to me, "Under the shadow" is a slow burn horror. You should definitely watch it at least for once. This movie is really good for one time watch.

Aftermath (IV) (2021)

Illogical movie
31 August 2021
"Aftermath" is an American psychological thriller film which is released recently on Netflix. The movie is based on true events. A young couple who are already dealing with their marital relationship issues, shift to a new house to rebuild their relationship. The previous owners of the house died because of murder and suicide. Paranormal activities started to happen as they moved in.

Yes! We know the story, right! We watched the same story several times in so many movies. It became predictable from the very beginning. But they managed to keep the suspense on the line so I gave it a go. Honestly speaking, the only good actor was the dog. There are so many loopholes in the story. The climax was pathetic. Who took one month of time to shift to another house after so many tragedies happen with them?

According to me, "Aftermath" is nothing but an illogical movie. You can give it a watch if you want.

Movie: The Old Ways

"The Old Ways" is a Spanish English language American horror film that was premiered at the Sitges Film Festival in 2020. The story revolves around a Mexican-origin reporter. She visited her birthplace to do research on tribal rituals. She got kidnapped by locals and the bruja told her that she was possessed by a demon.

The director blended a mixture of folk horror with exorcism. The visuals are great. But there is a huge lack in the character development of the protagonist. Many things are left untold. The storytelling could have been far better. The movie is unnecessarily slow. Some scenes are really gory. If you're a horror flick fan then you will find nothing new except the blend in this movie. You have already seen these things multiple times.

According to me, "The Old Ways" is an average film and a one-time watch.

Boomika (2021)

Barely a one time watch
29 August 2021
"Boomika" is a Tamil language eco horror-thriller film that is released recently on Netflix starring Aishwarya Rajesh. This is Rathindran R Prasad's first film. "Boomika" will steal your heart in the first few minutes. The scenic beauty is splendid. The story starts with an accident then it suddenly jumps to another story. The layout is just like any other horror film where a family or a group of friends visit a colonial bungalow and paranormal activities start to happen.

What is the real cause of global warming? When mother nature loses her ecological balance, she wants to regain the lost balance anyhow. Just like a human body, the temperature of the body increases when it is attacked by an unwanted virus. Global warming is just like fever. We, the human beings are the viruses for our mother earth. The director wanted to deliver a good message through this film. PT extinction theory and Gaia hypothesis are also explained. But there are so many negative sides.

First of all, casting is really very bad. Each actor gave the same flat expression in every scene. Madhuri's character was too annoying. Secondly, the storyline is loosely bound. Character development is pathetic. Cinematography and editing are awful. Very poor CGI. There are many loopholes in this movie. They took the full responsibility to spoil every important scene by adding unnecessary spooky background music. The worst part is that they treated the music as an alarming sound.

I had huge expectations from this film but I got really disappointed. The idea behind this film is appreciable. But it is totally ruined by pathetic acting, poor screenplay, amateur editing, and horrible CGI. Do not waste two hours of your precious time on this film.

A one time watch, beautiful songs and cinematography
24 July 2021
"Angrezi Mein Kehte Hain" is a hindi language romantic drama film starring Sanjay Mishra, Shivani Raghuvanshi, Pankaj Tripathi, Brijendra Kala, Ekavali Khanna, Anshuman Jha. This film was premiered at the South Asian International Film Festival in 2017. The movie has received many accolades. The story is about different views on love and arranged marriage of three couples who are from middle class families of Varanasi. Marriage is not about just sharing responsibilities, expressing love is also necessary.

The first half of the movie is very promising. But the second half is disappointing. It turns out a typical bollywood commercial film. The casting is huge and everyone tried to give their best. But they were not the right choices for the respective roles.

Cinematography is beautiful. Each frame is incredible. The songs are amazing. It's a slow paced movie. The storyline is common and direction is very poor.

According to me, "Angrezi Mein Kehte Hain" is a light hearted, average, one time watch movie.

22 July 2021
"Apostle" is a period horror mystery film which was first premiered at Fantastic Fest in 2018. Dan Stevens is in the lead role. The plot is about a religious cult. There's a remote island which was used to be fertile, now converts into a barren land. It will become fertile again through blood sacrifice. The protagonist's sister was kidnapped and held for ransom. He went to the island to rescue his sister and the story goes on.

First of all, the most attractive part in this film is cinematography. It's really outstanding. The movie is more of a slow burn horror. There are lots of bloodsheds and gory scenes in this movie. Screenplay is amazing. It will keep you hooked till the very end. Well, there is no ghost, there are no jumpscares. The story is the only horror element here. People who love to watch different kind of horror movies, I think this is the film you shouldn't miss at all.

"Apostle" is a must watch. You should definitely give it a watch for its beautiful storyline and cinematography.

The Dark Side of Dhaka (2021 TV Movie)
8/10
Hidden gem
19 July 2021
Movie: The Dark Side of Dhaka IMDb: 7.7/10

"The Dark side of Dhaka" is a Bangladeshi crime thriller film which is released in 2021. There are five stories linked with each other in this movie. Four stories are directed by Raihan Rafi. People who have already watched "Janowar", know him very well. And another story is directed by Simit Ray Antor.

Trust is a very dangerous and manipulative thing. If you rely on someone and the person breaks your trust, then you'll be damaged. If you can't rely on someone and the person is really trustworthy then you will lose a beautiful relationship. This way or that way, you have to face your fate.

There are people who have greed for power or money, who are sadists by nature, people who are lustful and we're living with them. The persons might be our relatives, our friends or our neighbours. We cannot recognise them. What should we do then to protect ourselves? Should we never trust our closed ones? At the end of the day, we'll be nothing in front of our "Karma".

I was really shocked while watching this film. From screenplay to cinematography to character development are really praiseworthy. I loved how the stories are connected with a fine thread. Colour grading is impressive. The only negative side in this film is there's too much use of abusive words. The stories are dark. Some stories are predictable. Each story is incredible on its own way but my personal favourite is the second one.

According to me, "The Dark Side of Dhaka" is a must watch. This is actually a hidden gem. You shouldn't miss this at all.

Movie: A Classic Horror Story

"A Classic Horror Story" is an Italian horror film which is recently released on Netflix. The trailer was very promising so I decided to give it a watch. The story revolves around five strangers who travel in a carpool. The car crashed at the road and the next morning, they found themselves in front of an abandoned house in the middle of a forest.

The movie took many references from Cabin in the Woods, Midsommar, The Ritual. So the storyline was pretty predictable. Cinematography and the use of colour palette are really good. The focus on character development is minimal in this film. There's a fine blend of folk horror. The climax was slightly thought provoking. There are many gore scenes in this movie.

Overall, "A Classic Horror Story" is an entertaining, one time watch movie.

A perfect end of this triology
17 July 2021
Movie: Fear Street 1666 Part: Three

"Fear Street 1666" is an American supernatural horror film which was released yesterday on Netflix. It is the third and the final part of "Fear Street" trilogy. The triology is based on R. L. Stine's famous teen horror ""Fear Street" book series.

From the previous two parts of the movie, we got the idea that there's a curse on a town named Shadyside and people are constantly dying because of it. In this part, the root behind the curse will be discovered. We will get to know why do the people of Shadyside become victims for centuries? Is there any other way to end the curse or it'll never end?

First of all, the storyline and the detailings are really impressive. While the other parts of this triology are purely slasher flicks, this movie is mainly based on witchcraft. The plot twist is very satisfying. It's an engaging and a must watch movie.

If you haven't seen this movie yet, do watch the "Fear Street" triology in this weekend.

Movie: Fear Street 1994 Part: One

"Fear Street 1994" is an American teen slasher flick which is released a week ago on Netflix. This movie is the first part of the triology. It is based on R L Stine's teen horror fiction "Fear Street" series.

The plot revolves around a town named Shadyside which is famous for serial brutal killing and a group of teenagers try to stop it.

First of all, the opening credits are great. The storyline is really good. The focus shifted more on Deena and Sam's relationship than the actual plot. The 90's vibe was somehow missing. All they used are 90's pop songs. Acting is not good. But if you ignore these parts, this movie is entertaining. But there were many opportunities to make the movie more thrilling.

According to me, "Fear Street 1994" is a one time watch. If you're planning to watch "Fear Street", do not miss a single part of this triology.

Slow burn horror with an eerie atmosphere
5 July 2021
"Roh" is a Malay language folk horror film which was first premiered at Singapore International Film Festival in 2019. It was screened at various international film festivals after 2019. This film was Malaysia's official submission for the international feature film category in the Oscars.

"Roh" means "Soul". A mother lives with her two children at a hut in the middle of a secluded forest. The family starts to experience supernatural happenings after the appearance of a mysterious girl. The duration of the movie is 83 minutes but all the mysteries will unfold at the last 5 minutes. Metaphors and symbols are used to represent many religious motifs. References of Iblis and Adam from Quranic verses are also taken here.

The most amazing part of this movie is cinematography. Saifuddin Musa did a terrific job by creating an eerie atmosphere throughout the whole film. Performances of each and everyone are mind blowing. This film contains no jumpscares but it has many disturbing scenes. You'll get to see a perfect blend of Islamic folklore and Malay black magic.

If you're comfortable watching slow burn folk horror movies, then you shouldn't miss "Roh".

Pee Mak (2013)

Engaging entertaining horror romantic comedy
4 July 2021
Movie: Phi Mak Phra Khanong ( Pee Mak)

"Pee Mak" is a Thai language romantic horror comedy film which was released in 2013. It's an adaptation of Thai local folklore, "Mae Nak Phra Khanong" a well known Thai female ghost. The plot of the movie is quite similar to that. A beautiful young woman waits for her beloved husband who is sent to war. Her husband returns home with his friends and invited them to meet his wife. Meanwhile the villagers told him that her wife died during childbirth and the story goes on.

The movie has the proper balance of comedy and romance and horror elements. The comic timing was perfect each time. You can ignore the stupid facial expressions in some scenes. Cinematography is beautiful. Character development is great. Each of the actors perfectly delivered their performances. Davika Hoorne looks stunning here.

This movie has received many accolades. You may find the climax slightly cliched. One Tamil and one Malayalam film have been adapted from this movie. According to me, "Pee Mak" is a very sweet, engaging and entertaining movie. If you're fond of horror movies which are based on good stories and have minimal amount of jumpscares, then you should not miss this movie. I highly recommend "Pee Mak" to everyone.
