Sex Education: Episode 8 (2023)
People are just frustrated that things didn't happen as they wanted to
So, basically this season was by far the worst one, mostly because we had lots of loving characters that aren't just here anymore. Also let me add that they wanted so hard to finish the show that the last 2 episodes were basically just throwing answers and "this is how it ends" at the viewers. So yeah, it wasn't as good as the show have been. But was it that bad?
I would say no. Although all the problems are there, the show remains one of the most diverse and inclusive of TV, as it was for the last years. It still has it's touching storytelling and text, and still is somehow relatable for most of stories.
That been said, it definitely could be better, and we deserved more, but this ending was still concise and worth for this show that will always stay along in my mind.
The Last of Us: Infected (2023)
Satisfyingly amazing
This is amazing, I passed the whole 52 minutes with my eyes wide open on my TV. I could write an entire review about how this episode was excellent. That's how you make an adaptation, that's how you make scenes to get your viewers to feel anxiety, That's how you make them care about the characters, that's how you make characters that even not knowing them so well, you don't want them to go too soon.
I played all the games and I am having such an amazing experience watching this show. I just hope that people who didn't play TLOU are getting the same feelings as I am.
This show is setting space to be one of the all-time greatest shows out there!
Bodies Bodies Bodies (2022)
Enjoyable
It isn't the best time you could have watching a mystery movie, but it's still kinda fun, although sometimes the movie appears to think itself is something else, it's actualy just OK.
Solar Opposites: The Pupa's Big Day (2022)
Underrated
There are many reasons to why this episode is considered one of the worsts of the series, I get it, but in my opinion I think it was so genius and funny how the writters made something so irrelevant and boring turn into a big thing like it's something else.
Love, Death & Robots: Three Robots: Exit Strategies (2022)
If you felt triggered watching this episode, just stop watching the show
The three robots were one of my favourites episodes on this show, and watching their come back made me very happy. It's also very funny how it triggered the conservatives and made them mad enough to rate a low score to this episode, just because they say obvious things that conservatives don't want to accept, hilarious.
X (2022)
Not a horror masterpiece, but a very close one
While there are lots of reviews telling "'tHiS wAs A bAd mOvIe" without pointing up why, I'll say this is an awesome movie, would rate it 8/10, but did put 10 so the rate increases, and people can actually give it a shot.
It has everything a horror movie needs: tension, plot and blood (lots of it). On a technical level, it's something you wouldn't expect of horror movies from this day, just good as the acting and everything else on this movie.
Although sometimes it may fall into some horror movies cliche, it doesn't happen often, and doesn't disturbed the experience in my point of view. The characters are well wrighten and villain's motivations aren't the "he killed because he's a psycho", like the majority of slasher movies to this day.
The movie is good, and can even scare some of those who don't get easily scared, just give it a try ;).
