new perspectives round about rape
28 June 2020
This film definitely brought new perspectives on the theme of guilt, guilty party, perpetrator and victim and the famous drama triangle. It is also interesting that one of the protagonists used money to buy liberation from his guilt, while another protagonist staged guilt and revenge for another person. In the whole rather plainly depicted plot, an oversized deep complexity of human motives for action was depicted very vividly.

What I found good and remarkable was the probably very feminine approach in the end - the renunciation of (natural) revenge. This was a great moment in the film. If we want to look at peace, wherever it may be, this is probably the only possible way.

Despite the very small budget, the director managed to create emotionally extremely profound moments, which were also expressed in the very special and aesthetic camera work through many close-ups. The film music supported the whole thing emphatically.

The movie surely isn't an easy entertainment film, but because of its statement about an important topic between men and women and especially because of its ending it is a remarkable movie, which hopefully gets a lot of attention. Thank you very much for this movie, which with its not quite usual theme expands the psychological trill genre and hopefully provides us with something to talk about because of the new perspectives.
