Ragnarok (2020)
Shockingly bad
I mean come on . This is so badly written. Yes visually is great. But dialogue are so painfully bad. There is no logic in this series.
We are located in the small industrial town of Edda, where all life seems to revolve around the cornerstone businesses run by the evil Jutul family. The family is among the richest in Norway, and according to the logic of this series, it means that it is also virtually omnipotent in the local community. Eventually, it appears that the Jutul family, who are of the fire, have lived since the dawn of time. Although they live in a small all-knowing all-city, no one has obviously responded that they never get older. Famous young people go to high school, and even if they are thousands of years old, they are trapped in a perpetual post-pubertal state. The family's beautiful matriarch, stiffly spilled by Synnøve Macody Lund, headmaster of the school where the children go. Her setter has, with icy cold, superiority throughout the auxiliary device to stop an announcement task that may put family operation in poor light. A little weird about bypassing powerful and influential family cares about a trifle like this, but ok, the series is full of logical flaws far worse than this one.
The main character is the immigrant Magne (David Stakston), a kind and unpopular boy who struggles with reading and writing difficulties. Miraculously, he gets super powers when the family settles in Edda. At the same time, he starts digging instead where he hears about the Jutul factory polluting the fjord, which is not a doubt for anyone watching, men for whom all the builders are closing their eyes because the family is so rich and powerful. It is so trivial and unlikely it can be.
The story is so sloppy. The action at best appears half-finished and affected by acute fantasy failure, and the dialogues are so clumsy that one sometimes becomes directly embarrassed. There are several good actors involved in the production, but unfortunately it helps little when the script is characterized by as many idiotic replicas as here. If the idea is to portray Norwegian small-town life, it is completely unsuccessful. If the idea is to give a new look to Norse mythology, it is at least as hopeless.
Sorgenfri (2015)
Mediocre
I a massive fan of the Z genre, this at best mediocre. But be honest nothing new to the genre. The story( was there even a story )? lacks build up. Some decisions that just werent logical. However it wasnt crazy bad. I reccomend watching, just dont expect a revelotionary zombie movie.
Sons of Anarchy (2008)
Worth a shot, but not my top 8.
To predictable, long dragged. Did not connect enough with the club. Jax isnt good enough actor, overacts .
What you will learn :
I promise.. how many times is this said and repeated ( like over 100 times ) ?
Enemies of SOA will miss 1000 shots. SOA will probably have a accuracy of 80 %.
So slow paced you will likely want to skip a couple of episodes.
Episodes are to long.
Conversation are so long and boring, and this are repeated so many times you want to bang your head in.
Other than that. It has a few wow moments. You will see.
Probably worth a watch. But not my top 8.
The Simpsons (1989)
How I lost respect
Removing MJ episode , But not Clinton ? Removing Apu? I mean, has The world gone crazy? Everyone is offensiv today .. and censoring humor . Yeah way to go.
Brawl in Cell Block 99 (2017)
Wow came out of nowhere!
Did not expect much, just came by this at random. Don't be fooled by the people who expected "The breakup 2". Vince Vaughn stars in this. Old school type fighting scenes, great paced "action" and screenplay you can just accept you know? I mean, how can you not like it? When you see a movie title like this, what do expect? I liked it.
