Kimetsu no Yaiba: Layered Memories (2022)
Heck Yeah! This is what I signed up for! (doesn't contain spoilers until the second paragraph)
Ight so I'm gonna criticize the rest of the show in this review, but it's mainly to make a point of how good this episode is (also sorry if my English bad)
1) I started this show with no expectations, my friend introduced it to me. I remember being like "oh well, okay" during the first episode, and clapping when it ended, I really enjoyed the first arc, thought thee secondd one was also great, and then they introduced Inoske and Zenitsu.
Yeah sorry but please don't be Twitter, it's my opinion. I don't like them, think they're annoying, Zenitsu is just an annoying crybaby who's cool when he's asleep fsr, and Inoske is just annoying (although I did like detective Inoske)
They kinda ruined the show for me ngl, or maybe it was just getting slightly worse anyway. I think the highly praised episode 19 is overrated, (the fight is fantastic tho)
I did like the movie, especially the animation, tho some parts were boring.
And these last few episodes weren't all that great either, except for the one before this which was better.
And now to talk about this episode.
2) Heck Yeah! This is what I signed up for!
This is truly my favorite episode of the show, just great animation, great fights, and a lot of great intense moments.
The animation during the fight was amazing as always, except this time we got a lot more of it, better.
Not a lot of Inoske and Zenitsu, they just appeared for barely a scene to set up their appearance in the next episode, it makes sense.
Hinokami is back. We all love Hinokami. I think the part where Tanjiro nearly decapitates Daki but then remembers to breath could've been done slightly better, but I honestly don't care, because the animation in the few seconds before that was top notch.
Nezuko has character development! It's not something you see every day.
Tangiro went Eren Jaeger, also something you don't see every day.
Or at all.
That moment when Daki slices of an entire town along with so many people might be the darkest moment in the show so far, a truly great way to present just how powerful she is.
I liked Nezuko's transformation and fight with Daki, but I do have a problem with the way they made Nezuko's new... Proportions...
I mean this is an anime so I guess I should've seen this coming.
Anyways, great episode, my favorite so far, 9.8/10.
The Ghost and Molly McGee: The Curse/First Day Frights (2021)
Amazing Pilot
It's very funny, it's very entertaining, it has some really great songs and likable characters.
It's everything I hoped it would be.
The Ghost and Molly McGee (2021)
High Hopes
The first episode just came out, and based on what I've seen there and all the trailers and teasers, I have high hopes for this series.
The Amazing World of Gumball: The Stars (2017)
I honestly love this episode, I give it 5 stars
I just gave it 5 stars for irony, normally I'd probably give it 9/10.
Actually I'd probably give it 10 since it's the only episode I could give 5 stars and say it was great.
Anywas I liked it, I thought it was very funny, and the concept was very creative!
I honestly felt really bad for Larry, he was kinda a bit evil-ish near the end, but who can blame him? He's the backbone of society and does not get enough credit for it (haha Amphibia reference)
I'd probably be just as upset myself!
For some reason I also kinda wish there'd be a moment where Nicole would ask Gumball and Darwin to do their chores or something, and they would get upset and decide to give her 1 star for being a "bad" mother, and Nicole would then make them change it to 5, you know, in her own Nicoley ways. (involves scaring them to death)
Animaniacs: Very Special Opening/In the Garden of Mindy/No Place Like Homeless/Katie Ka-Boo/Baghdad Cafe (1993)
My favorite episode of the show so far!
The way it makes absolutely no sense makes so much sense.
They mixed up the usual scripts, resulting in absolutely hilarious interactions between characters we've never seen interact before!
Mindy and The Brian for example, I normally don't really like Mindy, but The Brain makes him a better character, this is also the first time we see brain have a serious interaction with someone other than Pinky, and his quotes are comedy gold
We also got introduced to a new character-Katie Kaboom, seems interesting, looking forward to see more of her
Truly a great episode, 10/10
The Owl House: Lost in Language (2020)
This is my current FAVORITE episode of the show
I loved Amity's siblings, they have this mixed vibe of the cool and freindly kids, but also the mean and manipulative ones, which results in a very creepy vibe they have
Luz in this episode is faced with aa great conflict, she wants to befriend Amity and wants to get closer to her, but then she has to decide between doing something that would hurt Amity but will give her a name of a "cool kid", or doing what's right
LazyTown: Robbie's Dream Team (2014)
This is Number One
I didn't know kids shows could get this amazing! Stephan Karl RIP is such a great and funny actor, and the "villain" song is so amazing and silly (in a good way), I love it
Clearly and easily the best kids tv episode of all time
