The Idea of You (2024)
I don't care how this ends
Honestly the CHEM-IS-TRY between these 2 actors are insane!
I LOVE Anne Hathaway anyway but honestly I don't normally get drawn in by these kind of "romance or s e x " stories but let me tell you I was HOOKED!
I felt her I felt her character completely. Like I'm 36 going on feeling effin 20 I felt SEEN! Not everyone turns into a boring Karen. I don't even have a child (out of choice may I add coz I hate them! Ha) but I loved her and daughter's relationship so much.
Idngaf how this finishes I'm 3/4 way through and I'm already here making a review!
Love love love

Barbie (2023)
Honestly just what we need
Normally when a movie is hyped up big time you can pretty much guarantee it's gonna be rubbish.
Honestly this is literally just what the world needed. But do you know what? If you didn't like it then fine! Maybe it was just what I needed!
I'm not a cheesy fan in films but this did it so right. Honestly I was laughing so hard then nearly crying the next. It was a rollercoaster of a ride that I didn't know I needed in my life. I came out there thinking it was brilliant what I didn't expect was me driving home trying to stop myself from crying. I know it sounds dramatic but if you got it, you know.
Ryan gosling I knew he was a great actor but my god he took up a whole other comedic value and wasn't embarrassed in doing so! He was pure perfection in the role of Ken.
Obvs Margot Robbie. No words needed.
I loved the script. I loved the direction, I loved all the actors involved.
Honestly just pure barbie perfection. Chefs kiss.
Let me go off and drink wine and now go cry.
Fall (2022)
Do some cleaning whilst watching
Why on earth everyone is obsessed with this film I will never know. Clearly Netflix are paying people to review it surely?
Firstly the first scene CGI is atrocious. The "twists" if you can even call them that are so obvious and predictable.
If you enjoy spending 90 mins watching some extremely bad acting in the same place then good for you.
Also I know there are freeclimb daredevils but seriously who on earth goes up a tower almost reaching space without clip ins to the actual building.
P.s Also if can someone can hook me up with her phone since her battery life lasts longer than most relationships nowadays I'd be extremely grateful.
Halloween Ends (2022)
Michael deserved better
I don't even have words. It's like game of thrones all over again! I am absolutely fuming.
You CANNOT possibly go from those 2 fantastic films that were utterly brilliant in my Halloween mind.
Bringing in the original 70's vibe with a flashback with a Dr loomis lookalike my god chefs kiss.
Who on earth is this Laurie!?!? Who is she? Like seriously goes from an absolute basement full of armour to a tiny buttoned safe to get that tiny weeny gun out. NO.
And twirling her hair in a supermarket?
Her granddaughter was a mini Laurie in the making and that went dead and she was just obsessed with having a new boyfriend. Strong woman characters gone down the absolute pan.
Do you not what I'd mentally prepared myself for Michael actually dying in this one, but you can't go from that Halloween 2018 epic ending to this pathetic ending and he's just dead! A couple of scratches from a kitchen knife? Pfft please. This guy practically killed the whole of haddonfield in Halloween kills.
If this had been a film on its own after this franchise has finished then fine I would have enjoyed this new serial killers copy cat progression.
Michael 1000% deserved better and you know it.
Smile (2022)
Outstanding for a 21st century horror
I've watched that many horrors and thrillers I'm completely desensitised, but I can always appreciate and love an original thought out film when it comes.
I honestly loved this, it made me on edge the entire time. Every scene I was expecting some creepoid to be staring and smiling. Who doesn't get creeped out by over zealous smiling?! And if you don't you're a zombie.
The music score is fantastic, I always say music can make or break a film and this music also made me so uncomfortable! It reminded me of insidious where the classical instruments make you cringe but in a good way. Outstanding.
Love, Death & Robots: Jibaro (2022)
Aesthetically pleasing
My god what a blooming beautiful piece of art! I had to come and write this review because the 1 star reviews were clearly from ignorant people who are starting to annoy me!!
Breathtakingly beautiful, I particularly liked the bit where he was dancing on water toward her.
Honestly chefs kiss to all involved and boo to all those who didn't appreciate.
The Batman (2022)
Pointless
I wanted to love this so much, but seriously do not try and reboot unless you are going to bring something new to the table.
All the actors were actually great but it's a shame it was tarnished with such an absolutely boring pointless script.
Complete waste of 3 hours of my life that I'll never get back.
Mood (2022)
Enjoyable
I binge watched this on a Saturday morning and I ended the season wanting more.
I hope a second season is on the cards as I want to see the next part of sashas life.
Nothing woke about this show, so god knows what that reviewer is on about.
It's scary how people can get so wrapped up in their "brand" very truthful and modern.
Personally I think there was just a tad too much singing/rapping. But she is very talented so not too much complaint.
I needed something after finishing europhia so it was a nice little fix.
Halloween Kills (2021)
A Night of slaughter
I wasn't going to write a review, I just gave stars but it was really starting to annoy me seeing all these people slam a film for no good reason!
This was a hell of a lot better than I thought it was going to be. The 70's/80's vibe was brilliant. I thought it tied in with the original greatly. The violence was epic, they weren't just boring run of mill deaths. Frankly I can't wait for the next one!
Shut up with your miserable reviews and just enjoy it as a horror genre fan like you should do.
It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia (2005)
Legit the best show
I have never in my life binge watched a programme so much to the point I can't go a day without watching an episode. Me and my husband discovered this only last year 2019! I literally have no words, if my kind of comedy could be be merged into a something, this is it! These guys are genius'. I m currently on my 3rd rerun of the show and i still cry with tears.
