So I'm a freak. *shrug* Alas.... I care not. But, you should know, I love to edit, I love to create, and Adobe and Final Cut are my secret lovers. Shhhh, don't let Pat know (he knows who he is, but if you do, don't talk to him about this)....
BTW, if you live in MN, drop me an e-mail! I'd love to talk to a local who ran into me here. always_ask_why@hotmail.com

HarmonQuest (2016)
A fun and enjoyable improv experiment!
I say that title comming into the show already a fan of Dan Harmon stuff (Mostly "Community", btw) and Jeff Davis from WLIIA, and more so from his time on Drew Carey's Improv-a-ganza where Jeff's improv can be as savage as it is funny.
Without the animated core, I wouldn't have paid much, if any, attention to this though. That's the magic that drew me in. This is executed/edited very well, and marriages the real-life sitting around a table with the fantasy-brought-to-life animation perfectly!
I hope this is a fair review, since I've never played a round of any role-playing game. Friends and colleagues have though, so I'm not 100% clueless to the basis (especially since 2 episodes of Community kinda illustrated it w/o the benefits of animation).
You will enjoy this if you enjoy Dan Harmon (And kinda Joss Whedon) humor....
Lastly:
Due to depression, I rarely _genuinely_ laugh or even smile... but, I found myself suddenly grinning ear-to-ear many times, and even chuckling, as I went through all 3 seasons - especially with some of the celebrity guests' contributions! Lol @ the Rob Cordry and the Jason Mantzoukas episodes.... and, OMG, my favorite episode: the one featuring Gillian Jacobs (Brita from Community) - oh man; that was great! She Brita's it enough that even Dan Harmon comments on the "meta".
If you can't at least crack a grin at that one, then you probably won't wanna watch much of this.
If improv is a style contrary to what you enjoy, this isn't a show for you, as it makes no attempts to be anything other than what it rawly is.
Sunnyside (2019)
It's a poor remake
This is a US version of the UK show Mind Your Language.
Trust me, watch that instead - the characters have so much more life and chemistry. It's even better because of language barriers being a factor in getting in the way of getting their UK citizenship.
