The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power (2022)
Beautifully crafted!!
Now that season one is complete, I just wanted to say I think the show was incredibly well done. It has its shortcomings and pacing issues, and the writing is t quite up to par with Peter Jackson's films, but it's truly a technological marvel and something unique in this day and age.
There's a sense of innocence and hope throughout and that really does capture the spirit of middle earth, at least for me. I seriously can't wait for more as we all know where the story is heading, and it's gonna be insane to see onscreen!!
Whether your a Tolkien fan or a Peter Jackson movie fan, I think you will all find something to love. While it does change the lore up, it doesn't feel like it's doing to spite fans or Tolkien himself, at least not to me.
Give it a fair shot and form your own opinion👍

Arcane: League of Legends: When These Walls Come Tumbling Down (2021)

The Harder They Fall (2021)
A fun and emotional ride!!
The film is stylish and fun while also holding a lot of weight with is characters, especially between the protagonist and the antagonist.
That dynamic is what drives the movie and the final encounter between the two doesn't disappoint, cultivating in an emotional scene that made the movie for me!!
Overall, loved it, music was awesome, loved the characters, the style, and the ending was epic!!
The Haunting of Bly Manor (2020)
Starts out slow, but holy cow!!!
The show starts out very slow, very little scares, and I was disappointed at first, but the characters were strong so I kept going. I kept trying to compare it to Hill house, I kept that mindset, wrongfully so. Once I had reached episode 7, it hit me. The show is brilliant, everything started to make sense, and it was terrifying, dark, twisted, and beautiful at the same time.
That slow build up was worth it, stay with it, the story is depressing as heck, more so then hill house. Is it as scary? Yes and no. Once you look at the show as a whole, it's absolutely terrifying. It might not be as scary episode to episode, but plot and build up wise it really nails it.
It takes its time to build the relationships of these characters, then delves into their pasts through memory jumping, might seem confusing at first, that is, until it all comes to together like a puzzle. It's brilliant!!
The coolest part is both seasons are part of the same show, one isn't replacing the other, we get them both!! The potential is too good to be true. Bly Manor is so different then hill house, and the next season will be different the Bly Manor.
Don't listen to the haters, they have no taste. Even if you don't like it as much as hill house, it's still a brilliant and beautiful season. We need more horror like this!!
RWBY: With Friends Like These (2020)
Astounding!
RWBY volume 7 has been amazing, and this episode cements that, it's last act is a heavy hitter. Don't listen to the haters, they have no clue what they are talking about.
