Meltdown: Three Mile Island (2022)
Brings back memories
I was 13 and lived in York PA very close to TMI. It was really scary. This series does a great job capturing the fear and confusion everyone felt. The adults around us had no idea what the right thing to do was, whether to stay or go. The day of the hydrogen bubble was terrifying. Finding out as an adult how much disinformation the NRC, GPU and Bechtel we're propagating brings it all back and makes me angry. I've been anti-nuclear my whole life because of TMI.
Made You Look: A True Story About Fake Art (2020)
Victimless crimes
Great doc about greed and denial. I believe Ann Freedman generated enormous denial because she wanted more and more money. She swindled people, because she didn't want to know the truth that was right in front of her face. Luckily the only people who were "hurt" were stupid rich people who didn't lose much, considering their sickening fortunes. Moral of the story: if you like art, go see it in a museum. Don't buy it.
No Sudden Move (2021)
Good way to spend an evy
I enjoyed this. Liked the characters and the acting. Great music. Kept me guessing.
