Celtic Pilgrimage: (2018)
The Real Story of St. Patrick!
Wonderful documentary of the early followers of Jesus Christ in Ireland, Scotland and England. The Catholic Church has tried to posthumously "adopt" St. Patrick and the other early Apostles of Christ of the 5th-7th centuries, but the truth is revealed in this powerful film. Wonderful cinematography and depictions of the history bring the stories of Patrick, Brendan, Comgall, Columba and other mighty men and women of God to life in a way that is powerful and memorable. Highly recommended!
The God Question (2014)
Unsatisfying
I initially thought this was an actual documentary where researchers had posed this question of an AI supercomputer. When I realized it was a fictional dramatization, I almost stopped watching then. After completing the whole movie, I wished I could have my 90 minutes back.
The Furnace (2019)
Inspirational but theologically inaccurate
Inspirational movie that champions courage, grit, and perseverance. However, the faith aspect that weaves through the story is not in line with the Bible. (Spoiler alert): dead humans don't become angels, & angels don't claim to be God. Despite the other great aspects of this film, the heretical beliefs potrayed here were a problem for me.
