Project G.e.e.K.e.R. (1996)
Genius insanity
Geeker was an awesome show when it was on, it's a travesty that it never was awarded a second season. Why hasn't it been put on DVD even? There ARE people that remember this show, and I can only hope a release is in the cards for this hilarious show.
As it says, GeeKeR was a futuristic goof that had a very unusual powers, and all he really wanted throughout the 13 episodes was to be more human. Just wait till you see him sprout pinky fingers all over his body! Noah was my favorite character from the show however, the large, breath mint loving, red-cap wearing, T-rex just ruled when he was on screen. I still wonder what kind of possibilities these characters had in them if there had been another season.
Dinosaur (2000)
Great, great movie
Dinosaur is a very cool movie, it's one of Disneys better films. First plus: no songs, songs just wouldnt fit for this movie. Another plus is the soundtrack, it is all instrumental and it too is very nice and coveys emotion well. The digital effects in this movie are some of the best Ive seen since the Phantom Menace, Aladars skin looks so very real in all the shots! The plot is a little loose but it doesnt take away from you being able to enjoy the movie, also the only real enemy is two T-rex like Carnatours. Aladar has a soft spot for the older dinos but at the same time he still has anger within him, giving his character depth. And by far Zini, Aladar's lemur "brother", is one of my favorite characters as he self proclaims himself the "love monkey." This movie is a must see, but maybe not for the younguns, several dinos do die, which adds to the real feel of this movie.
Evil Dead: Hail to the King (2000)
It was great!
I have to say that this is a wonderful game for Evil Dead fans! This game has all the humor and gore the films had. Bruce Campbell does a great job reprising his role (in voice-over form) of Ash. The game plays almost exactly like the Resident Evil games, so play should'nt be hard if you've had experience with those. Definetly one of the best purks of this game is that you get a button devoted to Ash's one-liners. You also get two weapons, your trusty chainsaw on one arm, and three other weapons in the other hand including: an axe, your boomstick(shotgun), or a rifle. The sounds are really creepy in the woods, but whenever you kill a deadite and Ash delivers "say hello to disco for me" things get a little brighter. The only problem that I do have to point out is that the floating deadites do respawn and are a pain to kill, and continuously fighting them gets tireing. I would recommend this game to all ED fans, it is a very good, funny, and at times challenging game.
