Horribly, disrespectful garbage

I've worked in the craft beer industry for fifteen years, and this show is complete trash. I question whether they consulted with anyone from the industry. They use words incorrectly, their equipment doesn't match what they're doing, and they completely disrespect and belittle the hardworking people who keep this industry running. Rather than make a show capturing the creativity and fun of a truly inspiring industry, they choose to make fun of the people who work and enjoy it. Most of the jokes are unnecessarily gross and/or juvenile, and none of them are funny.

I'd give zero stars if I could. So disappointed. I was excited when I first heard about this show.

How do Seth Rogan movies still get greenlit? I thought the preview looked funny, and was willing to give it a shot... I was wrong. If you are a young boy between the ages of 11 and 14, then maybe you will laugh. Otherwise I highly doubt it. The jokes are so obvious and juvenile that they beg to question why anyone who approved the script still has a job. They seriously amount to a bunch of childishly crude sex jokes and some semi-offensive racial clichés. The stereotypes are both obvious and ridiculously unfunny. The jokes that aren't sex, toilet, or racially motivated are over-the-top, outdated cultural references. I get that Seth must be a cool guy (how else would he constantly get numerous stars to work in his films), but I just don't find him funny. There isn't one joke in this movie that is aimed at a person over the age of 15 or with an IQ above 75. If you like crude, unimaginative drivel, then this might be the movie for you. However, I cannot and will not endorse it. Ugh... I wish I had that 1.5 hours back.

Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby (2006)

Pure Funny!

I was lucky enough to be at a premiere in Chicago for this movie and it was pure fun entertainment. I am not a nascar fan and I love this movie. First off let me say that most of the scenes that they show in the previews are not in the movie, or are at least altered from the trailer version. The characters are extremely funny. John C. Reily and Will Farrell make a perfect red-neck match in this comedy. They play off each other and you can tell that they must have had a blast making this movie. The scene where they are saying grace around the table will, in my opinion, go down as one of the funniest scenes ever. I rank this movie right up there with other will Farrell greats like Old School, Wedding Crashers and Anchorman. So, whether you are a will Farrell fan or not, if you just enjoy fun movies that will have you laughing out loud from start to finish, than you should definitely go check this movie out when it comes out. I will be the guy in the front of the line waiting to get my ticket to see this movie again. A+

Firefly (2002–2003)

one of the best sci-fi series ever...

"Firefly" is one of the best sci-fi shows ever produced... It is a shame that they will never make any more episodes. This show is the perfect mix of comedy and action. The characters are all wonderfully written, and the actors bring them to life with amazing talent. Every character is developed and fits his/her role perfectly. The ensemble cast including Adam Baldwin and Alan Tudyk is amazing. The show is a nice mixture of two of my favorite genres: sci-fi and westerns. Although if you don't like westerns, don't let that scare you. My girlfriend and sister both hate westerns and they love this show. We make a point to get together and watch episodes from the dvds. Not many shows garner that kind of affection and loyalty. This is one of my absolute favorites if you can't tell, and I hope that you take the time to view these episodes, because I am sure that you will love it!
