Lost (2004–2010)
10/10
Way ahead of its time!
17 February 2024
Im gonna try and keep this short. Perfect combination of romance, action, mystery, so many emotions and so much depth given to each one of the characters from the main cast. The flash-backs, flash-forwards and flash-sideways were perfectly executed and i honestly believe not many people would be able to pull that idea nowadays. They managed to tell us everything while having perfect pacing. Ending is really controversial, but i liked it because it sent a great message. To whoever did not understand the ending, search on the internet for the explaination and you will fall in love with it. Vibe gradually changed throughout the seasons which was expected, but they did their job keeping it entertaining, and there was always something happening. Many characters get to be liked in latter seasons, but its deffinitely worth the wait. I genuinely believe this show influenced the shows that came after it, and that it has left a permanent mark on the industry.

The Walking Dead (2010–2022)
8/10
Undoubtedly my most favourite show I've ever watched.

Warning: Spoilers
I will agree with most people and say that first few seasons are a classic. From plot, through cinematography to acting, everything felt so real and you could really feel like you were there. When I say first few I am talking about seasons 1-5. Now what I won't agree with most people is that TWD is barely watchable after season 5. Prison arc (Season 4) was for me the best part, because all of the characters got something to be happy for, and it was all well deserved. Rick came back from his insanity, as well as Carl. Seasons 5, 6 and 7 were good but the quality was a little bit poorer than the past seasons, but what made that period iconic was the iconic episode and one of the best in the industry in my opinion. It is S6E16 through S7E1 when we got introduced to Negan. But even before these two episodes there was an insane build up for Negan and when he finally came on screen he was scary because of the power he has over the main cast. Now I did say that I disagree that after season five show is barely watchable, and I do, but the closest I went to agree with the statement were Seasons 10 and 11. Season 9 was decent with some really enjoyable episodes ("What Comes After", "The Calm Before",...), but seasons 10 and 11 have shown as that writting got really poor, the acting got bland and it has gone too far away from the plot it was a season or two ago. When we realised that the biggest enemies weren't zombies but people it was a really good dynamic, but they got too far when they introduced us to the literal "city". Now I know that its acknowledged that it all feels so fake, but still, very unnecessary. But the whole "city" idea wouldn't be that bad if writting was better, I'm talking about pacing and dialogues mostly. You never look forward to something you just want it to be over with. But I enjoyed every season because I loved the show and the OG characters, and (HUGE SPOILER) after Rick dissappeared, Negan was the one who saved the show for me. The show would be 10/10 if not for the last two seasons.

Abduction (I) (2011)
2/10
They tried but failed.

Warning: Spoilers
First few minutes of the movies were great, the introduction part. When Nathan and Karen started working on their project and when he saw himself on that site, you get that mysterious feeling and it actually gives hope that whats about to happen is gonna be good. But no, suddenly everything takes a dark turn and in a matter of minutes we see normal family reveal to be some spies that keep Nathan alive. What really told me the movie was bad was the moment Nathan's mother started fighting two guys that showed on their doorstep. When that action music tuned in while they were fighting I cringed, it was literally a ripoff of any action movie you can imagine. I get it, they tried, and it was alright in some elements like the fight in the train and the part of the movie where Nathan cannot decide whom to trust so we learn more things about both sides. Overall good idea, bad realisation. Acting was fake in some parts and it's not just the actor's fault, but it's the poor writting as well. If they tried to do their own thing instead of clinging to other movies and copying most of the elements from them, the movie itself wouldn't be half as bad as it is.

Conflict: Denied Ops (2008 Video Game)
3/10
This game is one of those that made my childhood!

If you are a fan of old school games, you will surely like this. You can upgrade weapon through the game, you have to characters to switch between whenever you like, and there is a variety of maps. I played this game like 8 years ago, but its still perfect (I admit nostalgia did its part but it is my opinion). In fact, i played it couple of months ago. ITS STILL ASTONISHING!
